Chapter 97 - CHAPTER 98

Most of the intelligence Black leaked was true.

Saint Figarland Garling and the other Celestial Dragons' conflicts had indeed been long-standing, and Fisher Tiger truly intended to come to Mary Geoise to liberate the slaves.

The Revolutionary Army had long known about the existence of the God's Knights, and if no one helped them divert the God's Knights' attention, Dragon would certainly not dare to lead the Revolutionary Army to attack Mary Geoise.

Now, problems had emerged within the Celestial Dragons.

Coupled with Tiger as an external helper, and the rescue of Ginny who was in distress.

If he couldn't seize such a good opportunity, Dragon would lose the trust of most of the Revolutionary Army.

So, even if he still had doubts in his heart, he had to follow the opinions of the majority

Charge!

...The night in Mary Geoise gradually fell silent; Black and Ginny had both fallen asleep.

However, Belo Betty, who had listened to the entire "live broadcast," had no sleepiness whatsoever; she immediately contacted Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, that very night.

Before long, Dragon, having learned the general situation, decided to hold a high-level meeting.

Using the visual Den Den Mushi modified by Lindbergh, the various army commanders of the Revolutionary Army began a video conference.

The smoke from the kerosene lamp swirled in the confined space, shrouding Dragon's figure in a mist, making his expression unclear.

Belo Betty slammed the monitoring report onto the table, the paper sliding across the oak surface with a harsh scraping sound.

She aimed the visual Den Den Mushi at the contents of the report, then patiently waited for nearly fifteen minutes before speaking:

"Have you all finished reading?"

Her fingertips tapped lightly on the table, trying to suppress her anger:

"Now we need to decide on the attack plan and the plan to rescue Sister Ginny!"

"Wait!"

Dragon raised his hand to interrupt, shadows dancing beneath his hood:

"The intelligence came too perfectly, and this timing is also too perfect."

Everyone fell silent, only the crackling of the burning lamp wick could be heard.

Bang!

Belo Betty slammed the table, her voice suddenly rising:

"Are you doubting the content of the monitoring?"

"Or are you doubting the intelligence that Sister Ginny exchanged with... her dignity?"

"Calm down, Betty."

Dragon's voice remained steady, making his thoughts unreadable:

"I'm suspicious of the timing."

"This timing is simply too good, making me have to suspect that this is a trap set against us."

Even Ivankov, who had always been Dragon's staunchest supporter, had a different opinion and retorted:

"Dragon, I don't think there's anything wrong with this."

"It's normal for internal matters of the Celestial Dragons to be leaked from within the Celestial Dragons."

"Moreover, for people like them, I wouldn't be surprised if they revealed any secrets when they are pleased with themselves."

Kuma caressed his Bible, which contained a photo of Ginny standing in a wheat field.

In the photo, a youthful Ginny displayed a big smile.

But these things could not affect his judgment; Kuma spoke calmly:

"I did hear some things about Fish-Man Island; something indeed seems to have happened in the Fish-Man District recently."

Even so, Dragon still appeared hesitant.

No wonder caution had always been his nature.

However, his hesitation this time was indeed necessary.

After all, directly attacking Mary Geoise would be a decisive battle.

One wrong move, and the entire game would be lost.

The others all looked at Dragon through the visual Den Den Mushi, waiting for his decision.

After a long period of hesitation, Dragon finally spoke:

"Even if all the intelligence is true, we still need to assess our combat power."

"The God's Knights are the strongest force of the Celestial Dragons; the strength of each of them cannot be underestimated."

"How long can that Celestial Dragon... and the private forces he assembled hold them off?"

"Once we intervene, will they put aside their differences and unite against us?"

"Assess my ass!"

Belo Betty knocked over the teacup on the table, and the black tea splashed onto the strategic map hanging on the wall, spreading out like bloodstains.

As someone who had heard the entire process firsthand, she was already eager to rescue Ginny:

"No matter how strong those God's Knights are, since that Celestial Dragon has the confidence to create a one-on-one opportunity with Garling, he can definitely hold them off!"

"Can our understanding of them possibly exceed his?"

"When the Knights are held back, and with the large number of slaves released by Fisher Tiger, how much chaos will that create?"

"Such an opportunity won't come again even if we wait another hundred years!"

The others also nodded in agreement, and Morley chimed in:

"I can sneak in first and use my powers to create underground routes and set up explosives to create greater chaos."

Karasu was softly muttering something.

He seemed to have forgotten to turn on his loudspeaker; the others couldn't hear what he was saying at all.

Lindbergh stood on the chair, adjusting his goggles uncomfortably:

"Dragon, don't hesitate; this is truly an excellent opportunity."

"Ginny is not in danger for now, but we cannot rely on the humanity of the Celestial Dragons."

"She might encounter danger at any time."

"If we don't act now, are we going to wait until Ginny becomes a corpse before we act?"

Upon hearing this, Kuma's fingers, which were caressing the Bible, tightened slightly, creasing the page, but he quickly smoothed it out.

Kuma had always been someone who could control his emotions.

He knew very well that he was not suitable to speak now; aggressive remarks might interfere with others' judgment.

Having just spoken a sentence, he now somewhat regretted it.

Dragon was silent for a long time again, then continued:

"What about the Marines?"

"Once Mary Geoise is attacked, given the distance of Marineford, the Marines will arrive to support within a short time."

Karasu finally remembered his loudspeaker, turned it on, and quickly interjected:

"The Fleet Admiral must remain at Marineford and cannot move lightly; the only forces that can be dispatched are the Admirals and possibly Vice Admiral Garp."

As he spoke, he also glanced at Dragon's expression before continuing:

"If you personally lead the attack on the Red Line, I doubt the World Government would allow Vice Admiral Garp to come… would they?"

Of course not if Garp came, it was uncertain whose side he would even take.

Ivankov rummaged through the table for a while, found a document, and spread it out in front of the visual Den Den Mushi:

"Last week's news: Sakazuki has already gone to the New World and is confronting the Big Mom Pirates."

"So, the only Admiral who might support Mary Geoise is Kuzan?"

Lindbergh stroked his chin, asking tentatively:

"I remember this Admiral... seemed to be dissatisfied with the Ohara incident back then?"

"It seems this truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Dragon looked up, his gaze sweeping over everyone's bloodshot eyes, and his peripheral vision caught Belo Betty's clenched hand, already seeping blood.

His eyes hardened, and he said in a deep voice:

"Operation codename 'Nightingale'."

"When Fisher Tiger lands on the Red Line, we will concentrate our forces and attack Red Port!"

"End the rule of the Celestial Dragons and rescue Ginny!"
