Levan mutters, "Damn that old man, he lied to us. There is no exit!" I kicked a rock on the ground out of frustration. I gritted my teeth while tears streamed from my eyes. My fist formed, and my body shook uncontrollably. Hielgar glanced back at me and yelled "Levan, the symbol is glowing on your face!" I completely ignored what Hielgar yelled, the anger inside me finally snapped. I collapsed onto my knee "Aghhhhhhh!" My scream echoed so loudly it traveled across the entire cave. The wind violently rocked the cave like an earthquake; it whirled around me like a tornado, pushing Hielgar against the cave wall.
Hielgar grunts as he begs for me to calm down. My foot crushes the ground into pieces; I instantly bolt towards the opening hole, my legs defy their own limits, and I finally jump towards the hole. I exceeded my own expectations, shocked by how high I jumped, and I'm able to grip onto the edge. I pulled myself up, still shocked by what I've just done. "How did I do that?" Hielgar explodes in excitement
"Levan, that was amazing, how did you do that?"
"I don't know? Maybe I think this symbol on my face unlocked some sort of jump boost. Wait, you should try it too!"
"Okay I'm gonna try to jump there" Hielgar steps back and races towards the hole. He jumps staggeringly high, surpassing his old limits, and he clings into the hole pulling himself up.
"Woah dude did you see that? I jumped so high!" Hielgar says, jumping in excitement.
"I think we unlocked superpowers from our symbol, maybe the cave gave us a new ability that allows us to jump really high!" I say looking down at my legs.
"This is so cool! Wait, oh no we're going to be late! Grandpa is going to kill us!" Hielgar says
"Okay now let's head back home, but be wary of the dragon he might be lurking around here still", I exclaimed.
"Yeah, even though we can jump really high. I don't think that's enough to evade a dragon attack."
"Also, one more thing. Let's keep this a secret between me and you for now. We don't want people finding out about this cave and using this power out of good."
They both shake each other's hand in an agreement to never tell anyone about their powers or the cave. All of a sudden loud thuds came out of nowhere, they glanced at the area trying to locate the sound source.
Levan focus becomes heightened as he closes his eyes and meditates
"Over there!" Levan points directly towards some trees.
Then a silhouette of an old man walks out from the shadows.
"So it seems it was you guys who survived the dragon attack"
"Oldin!" Levan and Hielgar yell.
He wore a white robe, had wrinkly skin, no hair, and a long white beard that extended to his feet.
"Yes, it was me behind the dragon attack. That was my pet dragon who attacked you guys. I'm quite impressed, but I regret to inform you that now you have to die!"
"Wait what Mr Oldin you're behind all of this!" Hielgar yells
"Yes you see that symbol you guys have is called the Dragen. A symbol that represents the dragon's spirit, and once you've seen it. It appears randomly on your body, giving you a power that enhances your past strengths. You see 99% of people that see the symbol die instantly because of the immense spiritual power that surrounds them, and overpowers their spirit. You are special, unlike the others."
Levan and Hielgar are shocked from hearing this
"Wa-ait, so you're telling me because we've seen the symbol that we have new powers?" Hielgar says
"Yes but because you guys will be a handful of trouble, I can't just simply let you guys go!"
