Gloria and the dragon Scene 1 – The Day the Sky Burned
The town of Ashen Hollow woke up to a strange, heavy silence. No birds sang. No breeze moved the trees. The air felt… afraid.
Then suddenly—
BOOOOM!
A deafening roar tore across the sky. People ran out of their homes, looking up as a massive shadow passed over them.
A huge dragon, her scales dark as storm clouds and her eyes glowing gold, circled the town. Her wings beat the air so strongly that rooftops trembled.
"Run! Everyone run!" the villagers screamed.
Flames burst from her mouth—but not wildly. Not aimlessly. She wasn't trying to destroy everything. She was searching.
"Where are they?" the dragon cried in a deep, echoing voice that shook the ground. "WHO HAS TAKEN MY CHILDREN?"
The villagers were confused and terrified. They had no idea what she meant.
But one girl stood still in the chaos.
Her name was Gloria.
She watched carefully as the dragon swooped low over the town square, sniffing the air, her eyes full of rage… and something else.
Pain.
Gloria whispered, "She's not just angry… she's hurt."
And that's when Gloria knew—this wasn't just an attack.
It was a mother searching for her missing babies.
🌄 Scene 2 – The Secret in the Hills
That night, while the rest of the town hid indoors, Gloria made a brave decision.
"I'm going to find out what really happened," she said, tying her headscarf tightly. "Because if we don't fix this… the dragon will destroy everything."
Gloria followed the broken trees and scorched ground outside the town, tracking the dragon's path. It led her toward the old hills—where very few people ever went.
As she climbed, she heard something faint.
A small cry.
"Help… help…"
Gloria froze. Then she rushed toward the sound and found a hidden cave.
Inside, curled up together, were three tiny dragon babies—weak, scared, and shivering.
"Oh no…" Gloria gasped. "Someone took them from their mother."
Just then, she heard voices outside the cave.
Two hunters.
"We'll sell those dragon babies in the next city," one of them said. "We'll be rich!"
Gloria's eyes widened in shock. So this was the truth—the dragon hadn't attacked for no reason.
Her babies had been stolen.
Gloria knew she had to act fast.
Quietly, she untied the ropes holding the baby dragons. "Don't worry," she whispered. "I'm taking you home."
With all the courage she had, Gloria led the baby dragons out of the cave and away from the hunters.
Now there was only one thing left to do…
Face the mother dragon.
🌅 Scene 3 – Fire, Truth, and Peace
The next morning, the dragon returned to the town, even more furious than before.
Her roar shook the sky. "RETURN MY CHILDREN OR I WILL TURN THIS TOWN TO ASH!"
People cried. Some begged. Some fainted.
Then suddenly—
A voice rang out:
"WAIT!"
Everyone turned.
It was Gloria, standing at the edge of the town, holding a lantern high.
Behind her, the three baby dragons stumbled forward, chirping happily.
The huge dragon froze in the air.
Her eyes widened.
"My… children?"
The baby dragons ran to her, nuzzling against her giant face.
The dragon lowered her head, letting out a soft, emotional rumble. For a moment, the terrifying beast looked… gentle.
Gloria stepped forward bravely.
"They were taken by hunters," she explained. "Your anger is not wrong… but these people didn't do it."
The dragon looked at the villagers. The villagers looked at Gloria.
Silence.
Then the dragon spoke, her voice calmer now.
"You… helped me. You saved my family."
Gloria nodded. "And we want peace. We were just scared."
The dragon spread her wings slowly.
"Then there will be peace," she said. "As long as no one harms my kind again."
The villagers cheered in relief.
And from that day on, the dragon no longer attacked Ashen Hollow. Instead, she became its silent guardian, flying above the skies—watching over the girl who had been brave enough to understand her.
And Gloria?
She became known as—
