Chapter 33 - elements

After leaving the forest, the road was smooth and they were also surrounded by farmland.

On their way, Anna did not answer him after he asked her to teach him sword fighting.

But he asked her about other things and concluded that the use of the element after acquiring it from ordinary people is physical, and at a certain stage the person will be able to extract it using certain weapons.

It's true that learning that wasn't of much use to Ryan; if he wanted to increase his speed, he could simply make the path he was walking on icy and ski on it.

But learning how to do it physically wasn't a bad thing either.

After walking for about ten minutes, Anna spoke

"Okay, during our trip I will try to teach you, but in a month you will only learn the basics. Are you okay with that?"

Ryan agreed.

"That's okay."

"So let's start when we set up camp in a little while."

Then Anna asked him,

"So what's your element?"

"Ice"

Anna was surprised.

"Oh, you seem special."

Ryan's face showed a questioning expression.

"Why isn't the element something that comes with luck?"

Anna agreed.

"Yes, but there are few elements, and some are rare."

"For example, the academy teaches the elements that have appeared in the kingdom so far."

"Are there elements other than those found in the books?"

Anna smiled.

"Yes, I believe the book you read is about our kingdom, which is why it mentions the elements that have appeared in the kingdom so far."

"There are other kingdoms with other elements, such as the fog element. I think they will teach you about all the elements at the academy in case you fight someone who possesses one of them."

"And your element is one of the elements that only a few people in our kingdom possess, and I believe it is rare or non-existent in other kingdoms."

Then Ryan asked her about her element:

"So what's your element?"

"I was ordinary, then my father taught me the Ice Element. I think you're the third person I've met who uses the Ice Element."

After reaching a vast green expanse, Anna decided to camp there. She gave the signal to the soldiers and then dismounted from her horse.

Ryan was lifted off the horse and placed on the ground.

"Since night will fall soon, we will camp here."

"Okay, today let's stick to talking about the elements and adding to what I told you."

"Elements are something no one can explain, and a person might appear with an element that has never appeared before."

Her gaze sharpened, her expression serious.

"You will learn about the legendary elements that have appeared at the academy."

"Legendary elements?"

"Yes, I don't know if that's possible, but if you meet one of them and he's hostile, you should run away immediately."

Ryan wondered,

"Are the mythical elements really that powerful?"

"Yes, if the owner of the item is not at an advanced level, it may be possible to eliminate him, but there will still be sacrifices."

"But if he is in a high level, then escape is the only solution."

She patted him on the head.

"This is just advice for my student."

"So now that I have become your student, may I ask you a question?"

Anna shook her head.

"Of course, what is your question?"

"They told me I have to pass a test to enter the academy. Do you know what it's about?"

Anna thought for a moment.

"I didn't join the academy, so I don't know, but don't worry, I'll ask someone and let you know tomorrow."

Anna clapped to get the attention of one of the soldiers

"Now go to your tent, have your dinner and go to sleep. Tomorrow morning, before we move, your training will begin."

Then he turned to the soldier.

"Take him to his tent."

And so Ryan followed the soldier to his tent, and Anna went on her way.

In a large tent in the middle of the camp, Serissa was sitting on a chair with a small round table in front of her, and Froskar was sitting on the other side of the table.

She spoke in a slightly stern tone:

"Were there any injuries?"

Froskar shook his head.

"No, except for the soldier who was ambushed by the wolves, everything was fine."

Serissa sighed.

"How could a soldier in the Frost Division not sense an attack coming from lowly wolves?"

Froskar was about to reply, but she interrupted him.

"It doesn't matter. Just focus on treating the wounded soldier, and when you get home, change his unit or retrain him."

Froskar obediently replied,

"Yes, young lady."

Then one of them opened the tent and entered without any regard for the two people who were inside.

He took a chair and sat with them at the table. Serissa looked at the newcomer.

"So, my big sister, did you enjoy yourself?"

Anna smiled.

"Well, I have a student now."
