Chapter 47 - saving

Raven sent a bird flying, which crashed into a shop, completely destroying it. Raven felt pain all over his body, but the impact didn't cause much damage because, before crashing into the shop, he had shielded himself with a rocky armor that cushioned the impact.

Raven clutched his head in pain and looked back at the spot where he had been thrown from.

"Ah, what happened?"

There, a new person appeared and was looking at two colleagues who froze for a moment in astonishment.

The three looked at the newcomer, who was about the same age as the girl they had kidnapped. He was slightly tall with a well-proportioned, athletic build, elegant and sharp features, dark green eyes with a calm and confident look, and his black hair was naturally neatly styled.

His clothes were luxurious, as he wore a short dark coat made of durable, high-quality fabric, with simple metal buttons that reflected high quality without exaggeration, and underneath it was a clean, elegant shirt in a calm color, with flexible trousers designed for movement and light leather shoes, and on his waist a neat leather belt that carried small tools, so that he appeared outwardly simple but revealed the precision and elegance of his clothes to those who noticed.

The two noticed that a white or transparent ball was forming on the palm of the boy's hand and that it was growing larger over time.

The kidnapper who was carrying Elisa slowly placed Elisa on the ground.

And without warning, the two men drew their sharp, black daggers and attacked him swiftly.

In moments they appeared before him; one attacked his right side from the left, while the second attacked his head from the right.

They attacked the boy quickly, targeting points that would kill him in one hit so as not to waste time.

But after a few moments, his eyes widened and they paused for a moment.

Because their attack stopped in the air a few inches before reaching the boy, or rather, their attack was repelled.

They felt as if their daggers had struck an invisible, transparent barrier at first, but upon focusing, they noticed a circular layer of air separating them from the points they had attacked.

One of them whispered,

"Air shield."

He looked at his companion who was close to him, and then they both dropped the daggers from their hands as if surrendering.

But that's not what happened. After letting go of the dagger and letting it fall slightly, they grabbed it with their other hand and attacked the areas not protected by the air shield.

Indeed, it happened in perfect synchronicity, as if they had read each other's minds.

But before they could even attack, the ball in the boy's hand began to shake.

At that moment, one of them stopped, his eyes widened, and he tried to turn around and back away, but it was too late.

The ball exploded, and a huge wave of air surged in all directions.

The stalls shook and various goods were flying around, but some goods were being cut.

The kidnappers were forcefully ejected as if they had crashed into a visible wall.

But when they flew through the air, and their bodies were being cut, they felt blades

wounding them, like a set of knives cutting them.

Their clothes and masks were torn off, and their bodies were covered in wounds from which crimson blood flowed while they were still in the air.

Then they crashed into the stone wall behind them with great force, and the wall collapsed on them, burying their bodies under the stones, and the place was filled with dust from what had happened.

The rush of air stopped; the boy was breathing heavily, sweat pouring from his brows.

"Using a level three skill is too much for me."

But then he smiled and walked towards the girl who was lying on the ground a few feet away from him.

Before the explosion, it caused the air to wrap around her body, forming a shield or dome around her to protect her from the blades of air.

He reached her, knelt on the ground, and tried to wake her.

"Girl, are you alright? Wake up."

Elisa slowly opened her eyes to see a new face.

"What happened"

The boy looked at her, feeling proud.

"There were people trying to kidnap you, but I Kai Valerion, saved you."

Elisa looked at him as if she still hadn't grasped what was happening, then sat down quickly, feeling numbness in her legs.

She couldn't stand, but she began to cry the moment she remembered the face of her maid and her guards.

Seeing her cry, Kai felt uneasy and didn't know what to do.

"Are you okay? Are you in pain?"

Elisa tried to wipe away her tears, but they wouldn't stop flowing, and she said, sobbing,

"I'm...fine."

Kai was puzzled.

'Then why is she crying?'

But at that moment, they heard a sound coming from the place of the collision. Kai and Elisa looked in that direction and saw a hand emerging from under the pile of rocks.
