Chapter 1:The Boy The Sky ignore 🌌

The sky above Elaris Town had been grey for as long as anyone could remember.

Not stormy.

Not cloudy.

Just… grey.

No sunsets.

No blue mornings.

No stars.

People stopped questioning it years ago.

Except for him.

His name was Aerin Vale.

Or at least… that's what he thought it was.

Aerin stood on the rooftop of his school building, staring at the empty sky. The wind brushed through his hair, but even the wind felt tired here.

He closed his eyes.

"I think the sky is broken," he whispered.

"Talking to yourself again?"

A voice came from behind.

He turned.

A girl stood near the stair door — silver earrings, messy black hair, eyes that looked like they were hiding secrets.

Lynara Ash.

The only person who ever came to the rooftop.

"You ever feel like something is missing?" Aerin asked.

She looked up at the sky.

"It's always been like this."

"No," he said quietly. "It hasn't."

She studied his face carefully.

And for a second — just one second — she looked afraid.

That night, something impossible happened.

At exactly 12:01 AM…

A star appeared.

Just one.

Bright.

Burning.

Alive.

Aerin saw it from his bedroom window and felt his chest tighten.

But the next morning —

No one else remembered seeing it.

Not his classmates.

Not his teachers.

Not even Lynara.

When he mentioned it, they stared at him like he was joking.

Or crazy.

But that wasn't the worst part.

In class, when the teacher called attendance —

She paused.

"…Aerin?"

Silence.

She looked confused.

"There is no Aerin Vale in this class."

The students turned.

They looked at his empty chair.

And no one questioned why it was empty.

Except Lynara.

Because she was staring directly at him.

And whispering one word.

"I remember."
