Chapter 93 - Chapter 93: Don't Leave Me Please

Chapter 93: Don't Leave Me Please

(Jay Jay's POV)

Everything was chaos.

Voices.

Footsteps.

Commands.

But I couldn't hear any of it properly.

Because all I could see—

Was him.

Keifer.

Lying in my arms.

Too still.

Too quiet.

Jay (shaking, whispering):

"Keifer… stay with me… please…"

My hands were covered in his blood.

Warm.

Too warm.

Mia dropped beside us instantly.

Mia (firm, urgent):

"Jay Jay—listen to me—I need space. He's losing blood."

Jay:

"No—no—he's fine—he's talking—he was just talking—"

Mia grabbed my shoulders.

Mia:

"JAY JAY. LOOK AT ME."

I froze.

Mia (soft but commanding):

"If you don't let me help him, he will get worse."

That broke me.

My grip loosened.

Slowly.

Painfully.

Jay (whisper):

"…save him."

Mia nodded once.

Mia:

"I will."

She worked fast.

Pressing the wound.

Stopping the bleeding.

Giving instructions.

Amy stood nearby, still holding Keizer down.

Savannah secured the perimeter.

Sophia was already calling ahead.

Olivia coordinated everything.

But me?

I just sat there.

Hands shaking.

Breathing uneven.

Because for the first time—

I wasn't in control.

(Keifer's POV — Fading In and Out)

Voices…

Distant.

Echoing.

Pain…

Sharp.

Burning.

But through all of it—

One voice stood out.

Her.

Jay.

Keifer (weak, barely audible):

"…don't cry…"

I felt something warm on my face.

Tears.

Hers.

Keifer (thinking):

Why is she crying…?

I tried to move.

Couldn't.

Tried to open my eyes properly.

Everything blurred.

But I could still feel her.

Close.

Always close.

(Jay Jay's POV)

He moved.

Slightly.

My heart jumped.

Jay (quickly, leaning in):

"Keifer—Keifer I'm here—look at me—!"

His eyes fluttered.

Half-open.

Keifer (weak):

"…Jay…"

My breath broke.

Jay:

"Yes—yes—it's me—I'm here—"

He tried to smile.

Even now.

And that?

That hurt more than anything.

Keifer:

"…don't cry…"

Jay (crying harder):

"I'll stop when you're okay—so you better be okay—!"

Mia interrupted.

Mia:

"We need to move him. Now."

(Transition — Ambulance Ride)

The world moved too fast.

Lights flashing.

Sirens loud.

But inside—

Everything felt slow.

I sat beside him.

Holding his hand.

Tight.

Like if I let go—

He'd disappear.

Jay (soft, breaking):

"You're not allowed to leave me… okay?"

No response.

Jay:

"You still owe me fights… arguments… annoying me…"

Still nothing.

Jay (voice cracking):

"You still owe me everything…"

His fingers twitched slightly.

And that small movement—

Felt like everything.

(Keifer's POV — Weak Consciousness)

Darkness.

But not empty.

Warm.

Because something—

Someone—

Was holding me.

Keifer (thinking faintly):

Jay…

Her voice reached me again.

Faint.

But there.

And I held onto it.

Because it was the only thing keeping me here.

(Hospital — Jay Jay's POV)

The doors slammed open.

Doctors rushed him in.

Pulled him away from me.

Jay (panicking):

"WAIT—I—"

But they were already gone.

The doors closed.

And I was left standing there.

Alone.

Again.

Jay (whisper):

"…no…"

My legs gave out.

I sat down.

Right there.

Cold floor.

Bright lights.

Empty hands.

Because the one person I needed to hold—

Was on the other side of those doors.

Fighting.

(Later — Waiting Area)

Time didn't move.

Minutes felt like hours.

Hours felt like days.

The Obsidian Circle sat around me.

Silent.

No one spoke.

Because there was nothing to say.

Amy finally broke the silence.

Amy (soft):

"He's strong."

I nodded.

But it didn't help.

Savannah:

"He'll make it."

I nodded again.

Still didn't help.

Sophia placed a hand on my shoulder.

Sophia:

"You saved him."

And that—

That broke me again.

Jay (whisper, crying):

"I almost didn't…"

(Doctor Scene)

The doors opened.

A doctor stepped out.

Everyone stood instantly.

My heart pounded so hard I thought it would stop.

Jay (barely breathing):

"…is he…?"

The doctor looked at me.

Then—

"He's stable."

Everything stopped.

Then rushed back.

Jay (shaking):

"…stable?"

Doctor:

"Yes. The bullet hit his arm. There was significant blood loss, but he's out of immediate danger."

I collapsed back into the chair.

Relief hitting me like a wave.

Jay (whisper, crying softly):

"…thank you…"

(Ending — Jay Jay's POV)

I sat there.

Hands still trembling.

But this time—

Not from fear.

From relief.

Because he was alive.

Still here.

Still mine.

Jay (soft whisper):

"…you're not getting rid of me that easily, Keifer Watson."
