Humans tried to use the magnetic field and make it an energy source but they failed but Due to that earths magnetic field being unstable and humans lost all their technology. The only things that could work were energy generators and non electricity consuming items. The government eventually also became corrupt and tried to use authority to control humans but it was futile. The humans used their last bit of power that was remaining to keep the magnetic field stable and make it strong enough to handle solar flares.
All that mattered in this world was not authority but power. There were almost no laws in most country's. Peoples true greed and intention came out and an brutal war began. Many lives were lost and people were killed. It was an massacre. There were two types of people. The rebels and the patriot. The rebels fought for control and suffering but the patriots fought to save their country. Eventually the patriots made a giant wall that wrapped around Asia to prevent rebels from killing. Only strong people were allowed to exit the war. Also called the gladiators.
But there was a boy who had no such love for his country neither hate for the rebels. He was called a weird kid because of his weird personality. His name was James devion. He just wanted to live a peaceful life with his family. But one day some rebels bribed the guards to get through the wall. And the guards greed was sickening so the guard agreed but what he meet at last was death. The rebels sneaked into a few homes and killed many people. James saw this and he tried to stop them but failed. The rebels decided to kill him but at last movement his mother and father shielded him and died in the process. Fear had griped into James and he ran away crying and traumatised. The rebels couldn't keep up with him and James eventually escaped.
James ran into some gladiators and asked them for help but they refused and told James that their working hours are over. Not a single person in the town helped James. He eventually gave up and ran away into a another town and there he stayed begging for hours for food for a few months and barely managed to survive. But a person wearing a black sun hat and black clothes came.
