One hundred twenty-seven years after Emon's death.
Humans were no longer confined to Earth and Mars. They had reached Europa, Jupiter's moon. Small settlements had been established there. People had taken Emon's stories there, taken Emon's love there.
Today was a big day. For the first time, a group of people were returning to Earth and Mars from Europa. They came to share their experiences, to speak of the new planet.
Among them was a young woman named Nova. Thirty years old. Born on Europa. Her parents were scientists who had gone to Europa for research. Nova had never seen Earth, never seen Mars. She had only heard about them.
The ship landed on Mars. Nova stepped out. For the first time, her feet touched Martian soil. All around—green, blue rivers, birdsong. She knelt down. Touched the soil.
"This is Mars?" she whispered. "Where once there was only red dust?"
Beside her stood Anannya. Anannya was now old. Seventy-five years old. But her eyes still held their former sparkle.
"Yes, this is Mars. Changed by the love of Emon, Lina, Maya."
Nova stood up. Wonder in her eyes. "I've only heard. Never seen. So beautiful!"
Anannya smiled. "Your Europa will become like this one day. Just as beautiful."
Nova said, "We're trying. Walking Emon's path. But it's hard. Ice, cold, no oxygen. We live inside domes. Like the first Martians lived."
Anannya said, "As they succeeded, so will you. Emon's love is with you."
Nova started to speak, but stopped. Tears in her eyes.
Anannya asked, "What happened?"
Nova said, "I never knew Emon. But on Europa, we have a small hospital named 'Emon Hospital.' I work there. I utter Emon's name every day. But I never imagined—the person whose name I take, how great he was. Today I see and understand."
Anannya embraced Nova. "You too will become great. You too will become like Emon. Because you too love people, want to save people."
That evening, a grand ceremony. Welcoming the people from Europa. Nova ascended the stage. Her voice trembling.
"I was born on Europa. A realm of ice. Everything artificial—light, air, water. But we have one thing that isn't artificial—love. We grew up hearing Emon's stories. We know he started it. Then Lina, Maya, Anannya—all carried it forward. Now it's our turn. We'll carry it forward. Take Emon's love to Europa."
Millions applauded. Tears in Anannya's eyes. She thought—Emon started with a medicine box. Today that love had reached Europa. Who knows how much farther it would go?
The next day, Anannya took Nova to the City of Memories. Showed her Lina House, that banyan tree, the first flower's tree.
Nova was amazed seeing everything. "So much history! So many stories!"
Anannya said, "Your Europa too will be like this one day. You will write history. You will create stories."
Nova fell silent. Then she said, "When I return to Europa, I'll open a museum. In Emon's name. I'll keep Emon's stories, Lina's stories, Mars' stories there. So Europa's children know where humanity came from, how love grew."
Anannya smiled. "Good idea. We'll help. Earth and Mars together will help you."
A week later, Nova returned to Europa. She took with her copies of Emon's diary, copies of Lina's diary, and a seed from the first flower.
Before departure, Anannya said, "Plant this seed on Europa. Flowers will bloom there too. Emon's love will spread."
Nova boarded the ship. Anannya stood watching. The ship rose slowly, disappearing into Mars' sky.
Anannya said in her heart, "Emon, do you see? Your love is now going to Europa. Where once you weren't, today you've reached. In the future, humans will go even farther. And you will go with them. Because love has no end."
That night, Anannya opened her diary:
"Dear Diary, today Nova returned to Europa. She took Emon's seed. Not just a flower seed—a seed of love. I know it will germinate. Flowers will bloom in Europa's frozen land too. Because love is for everyone, for every place. Emon taught—saving one life means saving the whole world. Today we see—one love can transform an entire solar system. Thank you, Emon. You taught us love is the greatest power."
