Space. The silent battlefield.

Two titans confronted each other in the void.

Vilgax — fifty meters of bio-engineered muscle and armor — was dwarfed by Way Big's hundred-meter frame. But the weapon in his hand evened the scales. The Ruby Ray of Ulo didn't just glow — it distorted the space around it, bleeding red light that made the void itself seem to flinch.

"Die, To'kustar!"

No flourish. No preamble. Vilgax gripped the sword two-handed and brought it down at Jake's head.

The swing split space like a red wound opening in reality.

Jake raised Way Big's gauntlet to block on instinct—

ZZZT—!

No clash. No resistance. The Ruby Ray passed through the cosmic alloy like a hot knife through butter. The indestructible gauntlet — the same material that had shrugged off Mind Stone beams and repulsor blasts — parted. A searing line of pain shot up Jake's arm. Golden cosmic blood seeped from the wound and crystallized instantly in vacuum.

The first wound Way Big had ever taken.

"Does it hurt?" Vilgax's telepathic broadcast dripped with satisfaction. "The Ruby Ray disintegrates To'kustar particle structure on contact. The bigger your body, the larger the target. You're just a giant bullseye."

He fired his thrusters and swept the sword horizontally — aimed at Jake's waist. A clean hit would cut Way Big in half.

"JAKE! MOVE!" Thor screamed from the cockpit.

But a hundred-meter body had inertia measured in millions of tons. There was no dodging.

Jake watched the red arc closing on him. His eyes went calm.

"Then we change the game."

Master Control Mode — switch.

In the microsecond before the blade made contact—

Way Big vanished.

Vilgax's sword carved through empty space. The momentum of a strike meant to bisect a titan sent his fifty-meter body spinning, off-balance, staggering through the void.

"WHAT—?" Red optics scanned wildly. "Invisibility?"

A gravitational shockwave slammed down from above.

Green flash. A new form — compact, dense, reddish-brown rock with a molten core glowing like a miniature planet. An asteroid belt of debris orbited his body. A few meters tall. But mass — mass was a different conversation entirely.

Gravattack. Galilean.

"Hey, Squid-Face."

Jake's voice had changed — deep, grinding, the sound of tectonic plates shifting. "In space, volume is nothing. Mass is king."

"Gravity Field — ONE HUNDRED TIMES!"

Jake slammed both hands downward.

VWOOOOM!!!

Vilgax — weightless a moment ago — suddenly carried the equivalent of Everest on his shoulders. A gravitational field a hundred times standard enveloped him, pinning his massive body in place. Arms locked. Legs frozen. The Ruby Ray trembling in a grip that couldn't complete its swing.

"Gravity... control?!"

Vilgax was a conqueror of ten worlds. He didn't panic. Auxiliary thrusters in his armor fired at maximum, straining against the hundredfold pressure.

"You think this can crush ME?!"

His muscles bulged grotesquely. The Ruby Ray brightened — he was actually lifting the sword, fighting through the gravitational field by sheer force.

"Tough bastard."

Jake's eyes narrowed. His body curled into a true planetoid — a small, spinning sphere of living rock — and began orbiting Vilgax at high speed.

"Universal Pull!"

SWOOSH-SWOOSH-SWOOSH!

Jake cupped his hands and reached out with gravity — not at Vilgax, but at everything else. Every piece of wreckage on the battlefield. Every shattered hull plate, every destroyed engine, every fragment of the ships Hulk had torn apart over three days.

Thousands of tons of metal debris became a gravitationally accelerated storm, converging on the pinned Vilgax from every direction.

BANG-BANG-BANG!

Vilgax was a giant target. Warship fragments hammered him from all sides — cracking armor plates, shattering sensor arrays, blinding his optics with impacts that came too fast and from too many vectors to block.

"ENOUGH!!"

A red shockwave erupted from Vilgax's body, scattering the debris field. He locked onto Jake's position, Ruby Ray charged for a killing strike.

But his attention was entirely forward.

He didn't see what was coming from directly above.

Hulk.

Silent as death in the vacuum. Moving at speed in Vilgax's blind spot. Carrying something in both hands that was more than ten times his own body mass.

The main engine thruster of the Devil's Hammer — ripped clean off the flagship's hull minutes ago, electrical sparks still sputtering from severed connections. A piece of alien engineering the size of a building, wielded by a being who treated the laws of physics as guidelines.

Hulk saw Jake's gesture through the gravitational debris. He didn't need sound to understand.

HULK... HATES... RED LIGHT STICK!!

Full rotation. Everything from the hips. A discus throw with a spaceship engine.

WHOOSH — BOOOM!!!

Hulk's rage plus Gravattack's gravitational acceleration. The engine hit Vilgax's sword-wrist like a meteor.

CRACK!

Bio-engineered bone — rated to withstand impacts that could shatter planets — bent at an angle that bone was never meant to achieve. The Ruby Ray of Ulo flew from Vilgax's shattered grip and tumbled into deep space, its red light fading as it drifted beyond reach.

"AAAAAHHH!!"

Vilgax roared — pain, fury, and the particular rage of a conqueror who'd just been disarmed by an animal.

No weapon. Pinned by gravity. One wrist shattered.

"It's over."

Jake clasped his hands together. The gravitational field began to compress — the first stage of a miniature black hole formation—

The space around them shuddered.

[WARNING: Spatial rift destabilizing. Wormhole collapse imminent.]

Vilgax saw it. His flagship — hull shredded, engines torn out, barely functional. The wormholes closing around them. And two opponents who were not going to let him rearm.

Conquerors survived by knowing when to retreat.

"You win this round, Guardian of the Omnitrix."

He clutched his broken wrist. No fear in those red eyes. Only the cold, patient promise of violence postponed.

"But this is only the beginning. We will meet again — on Asgard."

Thrusters fired. Vilgax became a red streak, rocketing toward his crippled flagship.

"ALL SHIPS — RETREAT! Through the wormhole!"

The Devil's Hammer, trailing black smoke and sparking from a dozen critical failures, dove into the largest remaining wormhole and vanished into temporal turbulence.

"Don't RUN!" Hulk surged after him.

"Don't chase, big guy!" Jake detransformed, caught Hulk's arm in human form. "That ship is about to blow. We need to move."

The War Song swept in. Jake hauled Hulk aboard.

Cockpit.

Thor looked at the two members of the Space Demolition Crew — one covered in cosmic blood, the other grinning with engine grease on his fists — and swallowed.

"You two... are completely insane."

"Vilgax is heading to Asgard." Valkyrie checked the radar. "We need to follow."

"Then let's go."

Jake dropped into the co-pilot seat and pointed at the massive, ugly wormhole ahead.

"Destination: Asgard. Buckle up for the worst ride of your life."

BOOM!

The War Song went full throttle and dove into the temporal vortex.

Asgard. The Bifrost Bridge.

Hela stood atop the ruins of the Golden Palace, watching a spatial rift tear itself open across the sky. A red-and-black warship, trailing smoke and debris, tumbled through.

"Is this the ally you promised?" She raised an eyebrow at the battered Vilgax stepping from the wreckage.

"I encountered a complication." Vilgax reset his wrist with a wet crack. His eyes burned. "But you've gained enemies of your own. They're coming."

A cruel smile. Two black Necroswords materialized in Hela's hands.

"Let them come. My executioners are hungry."

[Sakaar arc — complete!]

[Vilgax repelled. Omnitrix defended.]

[Ruby Ray of Ulo — lost to deep space.]

[Alliance revealed: Vilgax + Hela.]

[Next destination: ASGARD.]
