"Raine,...why do you always receive swords from the spell?... isn't that unfair?" Sunny was holding the golden sword in his hand, watching it move like liquid.
He had cleaned up the room.
They were currently in the secret base atope the cathedral.
Sure, they could live inside the castle now like everyone else, but Sunny refused to leave this place because he was afraid of his own treasure getting stolen which was in basement down here.
"I won't call it unfair, Spell is never unfair, but ...it can be moody sometimes...." Raine said.
"I said some mean things to it in the past, that's why it only gives me swords, but that is a double edged sword for me too,... sure, I won't be able to use the weapon myself, but Prisma here can expand her domain using those swords, so I won't complain." Raine said.
"I noticed that spell got a personality of sort, but not giving you anything other then a sword is quite unfair in my eyes." Sunny complained.
"Oh, it is what it is. People get random item from killing things.... But that random chance is controlled by spell too,... it can give you something good or something bad,.... maybe that's why you seem to receive item that are black.... And maybe that's why your girlfriend will receive the worst nightmares possible..." Raine said.
"HEY, CAN YOU STOP THAT GIRLFRIEND CRAP,.... SHE ISN'T MY GIRLFRIEND, ALRIGHT,... We spent some time together And I..just found her a bit...maybe a bit more..preety, you know.... but that's it....no love crap, you got that?" Sunny shouted, tired of this.
"So you got a crush on her, ayy? You sure that isn't starting of a lovestory?" Raine asked.
"No, no love, non at all. And she is also heartless, she won't care about that kind of thing anyway? So Don't say she's my girlfriend, even saint is more expressive then-" Sunny realised he was speaking too much.
Raine smiled at that.
"Well, what should I call her then, you won't mind if I call her a bitch again, would you?" Raine asked.
"...That?...I don't know?...you can be a bit nice maybe...no, no, no, I won't care, you can call her anything. I won't mind at all, and she is a bit messed up in her mind, so... Crazy maybe? ...no, you can call her whatever you like, .. just don't do it in front of me ok?....She was once a friend, you know.." Sunny said, not understanding things clearly.
"Oh, don't worry, I was just teasing you anyway,.....so back at your question,... I don't think that spell is being unfair to me,..if it wanted to be unfair, then I wouldn't be getting anything, but giving me swords is her way of getting back at me." Raine said.
"Her? Is nightmare spell a female too?" Sunny asked, curious.
"I don't know, but don't you think that AIs and women are quite similar too, let me explain, they both are dum-"
"Ok, I don't wanna hear it. No, no, Don't start again, I know where this will go. So just.. don't." Sunny said, covering his ears,.. afraid that his perspective of female kind will change if he heard this man.
"Ok, If you don't want to hear it then I won't force you." Raine said with a smile.
"Speeking of not hearing, I remembered that I have to tell you the way to break free of your chains... So let's hear it, ok?" Raine said.
Sunny dismissed the weapon, paying full attention to this.

"So this method I came up with is pretty simple but also difficult, but knowing you, I'm sure you can achieve this easily. ...You are the strongest person I know of right now, so it should be very easy for you." Raine said.
"So it involves strength? Don't worry, I'll become a Titan before I attempt my second nightmare. So what's the method?" Sunny asked.
"Well,...you have that slave bond because of your aspact Shadow slave, so you just have to evolve your aspect and your aspact will change into something else... Simple." Raine said.
"....Evolve?...but my aspact is already at divine rank! Is there a rank even after the divine?" Sunny asked.
"Nah, there isn't.... But that doesn't mean you can't evolve your aspact... aspact can get stronger even within the same rank... people do this all the time...they challenge their nightmare and their aspact evolves without changing ranks..it becomes better and stronger then before..." Raine explained.
"Do you think there's only one divine aspect of each element?...no right?..there are bound to be hundreds of them, some weaker, some stronger... your aspect shadow slave must be on weaker side as it has a word like Slave in it...but there must be stronger ones too..like a simple Shadow, or child of shadows, or lord of shadows...or maybe even god of shadows..." Sunny listened with shocked expression.
'God of shadows....., no that's too much, Lord of shadows... yeah, it has a nice ring to it....but...'
"You said that it is simple and hard at the same time, right? How it this hard?" Sunny asked.
"It's hard because for this to work you have to achieve something even greater then the reason you recieved your divine aspact in the first nightmare..." Raine revealed the catch.
"But I'm sure you can do it... I'll explain everything about getting a nice rating from spell!.... So do you remember why you received your divine rank aspact?" Raine asked.
"Yeah, because I killed a Awakened tyrant as a Sleepers, and I even received a blessing of shadows god himself." Sunny said.
"And you are wrong there,... think again, what did spell tell you when you received your divine aspact?" Raine asked as if he was a teacher testing his student.
"Mmmm...it said something like 'You have acquired a divine aspect?'...?" Sunny said with uncertainty.
"Yeah, dumbass, isn't that obvious that it said that?,.. what I'm asking you is the reason it gave for giving you that divine aspact,..... god,.. you are so dumb sometimes, you know that?.." Raine said holding his head.
"Reason hah... let's see you said it's not because of the kills,..is it because of the blessing?" Sunny asked.
"Ok, I'll tell you myself." Raine became tired of playing wise teacher.
"It mentioned something about achieving impossible, right?" Raine told Sunny.
"Yeah, it did say that I achieved impossible, but that's because I kille-"
"And you are wrong there, It didn't say you achieve impossible because you killed some great being or interacted with some gods, no..."
"Spell has a way with words, it won't reveal everything simply, you have to read between the lines." Raine said in his wise sage mode again.
"What spell meant by achieving impossible was that you did something that wasn't suppose to happen..." Raine said.
Sunny showed a confused look.
"Isn't that the same? What's the difference here?" Sunny asked.
"There is a major difference...and that is fate..."
"Spell rewards people for going against fate....if you met or even killed a god but that was fated to happen then you won't receive anything from spell... because you didn't change anything..."
"But if you killed a lowly human who would have great impact on this world later, that means you changed the course of fate by killing that person... You understand?" Raine said.
Sunny thought for a moment and then nodded his head.
"Don't misunderstand, killing powerful things will give you high evaluation..but that's because those powerful people will have a great impact on fate...and by killing them, you will undoubtedly change the fate...you understand?" Raine asked.
Sunny nodded his head.
"So that's the way,... everything revolves around fate...the spell will show you a scene...maybe something involving powerful people because their fate isn't easy to change...and then it will leave you to do anything you want...you can just survive and become mediocre...or you can change things and impress the spell to get great rewards..." Raine told him.
"Just remember, if you do something that was already suppose to happen-"
"Yeah, I understand, I have to change things from how they were supposed to be....but..." Sunny hasitated.
"Isn't fate impossible to change?..she told me, it's impossible... impossible to change what will happen...no matter what.." Sunny said remembering something.
"It's not impossible.... it's hard..but it's not impossible..." Raine said.
