Chapter 89 - Chapter 89: The Echo of the Primordial Forge

[The Atmosphere of Dread]

After Emon became the 1,601st Jinni, a peace like no other settled over the Celestial Hive. But this peace was short-lived. A rhythmic pounding began to vibrate through the diamond walls of the dimension. It was the sound of the "Primordial Forge"—the place where the first copper for the first ring was melted thousands of years ago. A dark entity known as 'The Blacksmith of Souls' had awakened. He believed that the 1,600 djinns were "Unfinished Tools" and that Emon was a "Defective Master." He began to pull the djinns, one by one, back into the forge to melt them down and create a single, mindless weapon of destruction.

[The Conflict]

Emon, now a spirit himself, felt his brothers being ripped away. He tried to use his "Silent Command," but the Blacksmith's hammer was louder than silence. Each strike of the hammer shattered a piece of the Hive. The djinns were screaming in agony as their iridescent forms were turned back into raw, molten copper. The Blacksmith laughed, his voice sounding like grinding metal. "I created your power, boy! I can take it back and turn it into a blade that will split the universe!"

[The Mega Twist]

Emon didn't fight the hammer; he "Jumped into the Forge." The djinns and the Blacksmith were shocked. The twist was that Emon's soul, being part human and part jinni, acted as a "Coolant." The moment his emerald energy touched the molten copper, the forge didn't melt him; it froze. Emon realized that the Blacksmith's power relied on "Heat and Anger." By bringing his "Absolute Calm" into the heart of the fire, Emon turned the forge into a giant emerald statue. The djinns weren't melted; they were "Tempered." They emerged from the frozen forge stronger than ever, their bodies now made of a material that no fire in the universe could ever melt again.
