I was so filled with questions that I didn't sleep a wink.
I entered the school in a rush, taking my seat before anyone else had even arrived. I'm so nervous, damn. I don't think I'll make it through the day. This is something that will eat at me.
I glance at the clock, there was still two hours till class started, the school wasn't even open, I just hopped through an unlocked window in the teachers' lounge. The first staff should be getting in soon, maybe I can ask them for advice. I mean what could the winky face mean. Kiss, or breakup. Kiss or breakup. I really need to know.
After an hour the lights in the building flickered into life, as the staff began to funnel through the halls, soon later came students, the first of wetch to enter stared me dead in the eyes. He was a straght a student who was in the runing for class presendent but failed due to one vote. "Ying, the room is curren't closed, can I respectfull ask why you are in here?"
I nod as I walk up to him. "Yes…" I draw out my phone showing him the text. "What does the winky face mean? I just can't understand."
He pushes up his glaces. "I see, well it is simple I'm sure." He suprisingly goes along with it, but even with both our heads put together we end up stumped. "Is it not posable that the winky face has no meaning, and is just to convay exsitment."
I freaze. "I hadn't thought of that." I look back at my phone. "That would make a lot more sense than what I was thinking."
"Well, Ying." He pushes up his glaces leaning back a bit. "That is why I should have been class presedent." Oh, I see, he is still salty about that.
More students began to pile in as class was about to start.
The rest of the morning seemed to fly by as if on a jetski, in the ocian, on a planent, within a souler system, ontop of a galaxy, floating around in a universe.
But the minutes before lunch slowed back down to a crawl. I can't help fix my hair eight times, before building the confidents to text her.
"Where you at?"
After a minute I reseved a response. "Come out back, I am leaning against the wall."
Doing as she says I find a small picknick, if a picknick just to sandwitchs and a blanket.
The back side of the school was not well visted, there was a track feild and a half sized baseball court, but no one realy used them outside of clubs. So it was basicly abandond.
I sit down next to her, leaning against the same wall. "Sorry about last night, my father was on the PC."
"Yeah figures." She calmly looks off into the distance. "I kinda thought this would be more romantic, like in a romcom manga."
I look where she is gazing, but there is just a few semi trucks stoped unloading into a supermarket.
"I think it is plenty romanitic." I set down the sandwich I brought with.
"Yeah, but I was hoping for more." She grabs the sandwich I had just set down. "Once you finnaly finish Mizar's quest, what boss should we go after?" A tear falls from my eye as she takes a bite of the only food I brought with.
"Uh." I clear my throat. "That was mine."
She looks down with slightly wide eyes. "Oh." She says with suprise. "I'm sorry." She glances at her two turkey sandwitches with disapointment. "You can have one of mine."
I take it with a glum exspretion. "I say we should beat Deoblo next."
She scofs. "Your talking about the secound hardest boss in the game."
"And, I am talking about two of the strongest players in the game."
She stares at me like I am an idiot. "As if."
We sit there for a bit eating and talking, but If I had a choice I would not have looked away from her. My very own girlfriend, a girl, a female girl. She is acturly talking about games with me, I didn't even know that was posable.
"In a way if you think about it." Her words break my train of thought. "Arn't Loop and Necroman kind of dating two? I mean its been seven whole years, and they spent most of that time together, going on advertures. Its kinda romantic in its own way."
I gulp. "It is isn't it."
"Bro, you were shit when we started the game though. I genraly thought you were the tipical girl who had never touched a competer before."
"Hey." I smile. "You wern't that much better."
"Please, I can't think of a time where I deid before you did."
I think for a long secound. "Your right, neather can I."
"See." She stares in to my eyes with a smile, and I leaned in, my lips puckering. "Dude." I don't know when, thanks to my eyes being closed, but she fell to the floor planting her foot into my face.
I taste the ruber as I also fall to the floor clutching my face. "Fuck, ouch."
"Sorry." She sits up in a rush. "I didn't mean to."
