At the entrance of the Seat of Divine Foresight, Kenta stood like a mess in the wind, his mind reeling. The parting words from Jing Yuan had placed an invisible, gargantuan weight on his shoulders.

It was a gut-level intuition—a primal warning that if he ever truly crossed paths with Jingliu, the "wife" he had apparently never actually married, he would be in for a series of tortures that would make the Eternal Freeze look like a summer vacation.

"Thank you, Jing Yuan. Jingliu, huh? I'm putting that name on my 'Absolute Do Not Approach' list immediately." Kenta muttered, burning the name into his memory as a survival tactic.

Shaking off the existential dread, Kenta decided it was time to regroup with his fellow Trailblazers. He pulled out his phone, checking the group chat.

Welt: "We are currently tracking Kafka's whereabouts at the Starskiff Haven. Kenta, join us once your audience is finished."

Kenta quickly typed a reply.

Kenta: "Copy that. I'll be there faster than a five-yuan spicy soup vendor during rush hour."

Tap. Send... (Sending failed).

"???" Kenta stared at the red exclamation mark. "Is the signal at the General's front door really this bad?" He tried again. Failed.

"No! My Holy Sword!" he groaned, convinced his phone had finally given up the ghost. In a fit of frustration, he exited the group chat and clicked on the first contact he saw—Clara—to test the connection.

Kenta: "Let's get married!"

Tap. (Sent successfully).

Kenta: "..."

"I suspect someone has hacked my phone. No—wait—now is not the time for cyber-security theories!" Kenta's blood ran cold as he realized what he had just broadcasted to a protected child in the Underworld. He frantically tried to hit 'Recall.'

(Recipient has read).

"..."

There was no time to mourn Kenta's social standing. The phone vibrated with a thirty-second voice message from Clara. Resigned to his fate, he pressed play.

"Eh? Kenta... big brother? What are you... saying?! Are you... not joking? Clara... if big brother Kenta is teasing me like this, Clara will be very angry! No, no, Clara doesn't mean she says no, but shouldn't we wait two more years? I think... Mr. Svarog?! Nothing! It's nothing! Clara wasn't talking to big brother Kenta about—"

The recording cut off with the sound of heavy, mechanical footsteps.

"Damn it," Kenta whispered. "It just got worse."

The phone immediately erupted into a video call request. The ID read: Clara. Kenta took a deep breath. Okay. Apologize. Explain the technical glitch. Coax her with some candy later. I can fix this.

He hit 'Accept.' The screen flickered to life, revealing not the teary-eyed girl, but the massive, unblinking crimson optical sensor of Svarog.

Svarog: "Stare — — — —" Kenta: "..." Svarog: "Kenta, you just—"

Click. Kenta hung up with the speed of a professional gamer. He immediately toggled 'Do Not Disturb.' The world finally became quiet. "As expected of me," he exhaled, "avoiding a bloodbath through sheer tactical avoidance."

In a shadowed corner of the Luofu, Kafka leaned against a jade railing, twirling a strand of violet thread around her finger. Her phone was pressed to her ear.

"I don't understand," a sharp, youthful girl's voice complained from the other end. "Why did you have me hack Kenta's comms? Elio can't even predict his future properly. What's the point?"

Kafka chuckled, her eyes fixed on the distant Starskiff Haven. "Don't be impatient, Silver Wolf." Her voice turned silkily gentle. "I was just thinking of having a... unique reunion with our dear Kenta. He's been missing for so long, after all."

"No! Kafka! What are you planning?!" Silver Wolf shouted, but Kafka had already ended the call.

The "Hand of Destiny" vanished into a dark alleyway, her steps rhythmic and elegant, like a waltz played in shadows.

Kenta was currently at the mercy of his phone's navigation.

"Beep. Turn left at the Mechanized Bird Parts Store. Go straight."

Kenta obeyed. He was a man who appreciated directions.

"Beep. Turn right in 50 meters. Go straight." "Beep. Please go straight." "Beep. Please go straight."

"Damn it! There's a literal cliff ahead!" Kenta roared.

The AI paused for three seconds. "Beep. Please go straight."

Kenta shut down the app in a rage. "I'll find a map the old-fashioned way."

Suddenly, his gaze was drawn to a deep, narrow alleyway. In the gloom, a glowing holographic map was prominently displayed—almost as if it were a quest marker in a video game.

"..." Kenta stared at it. "This is either a dungeon instance or the most obvious trap in the history of the Luofu. No cameras in the alley, either?"

Kenta's years in the Underworld—where he was often the one setting the traps—gave him a surge of dark confidence. "No cameras? Then whoever owns that map is about to have a very bad day. You want to trick the black hand? You clearly don't know who you're dealing with."

He placed his hand on the hilt of his Shard of the Void. Brimming with absolute strength, he stepped into the darkness.

Before his blade could even clear the scabbard, a pair of soft, slender hands reached around from behind and embraced his waist. A warm breath brushed against his ear, carrying a scent of expensive perfume and danger.

"Got you... my dear "

Kenta froze as the voice hit him like a bolt of lightning. An image flashed in his mind: a woman with a violet umbrella and a dead, beautiful gaze.

"Kafka?"
