Chapter 3 - Meeting Grandparents

They were all smiling as the blonde woman opened her mouth to speak.

With a soothing voice she says. "My grandson."

As she gracefully walks forward like a swan gliding on water. To only stop a mere centimeter away from Moros.

'She looks so beautiful, like a goddess.'

She opens her mouth while embracing him.

"Oh, my little cute grandson. You look so big yet so small. Are you sure you're 6, maybe 10? Yes. 10. You have your mother's eyes, with you possessing your father's hair. You look like a younger version of both of them. I will train you to become a strong and unyielding warrior like your parents."

She then starts squeezing him until he can hardly breath.

Moros, struggling for breath, squeezes out. "C-can y-you loosen your grip?"

She, realizing her mistake, springs back. With Moros trying to catch his breath. While he has blood rush back to his face. She starts speaking again.

"Right. I forgot to introduce myself. I'm your grandmother, the mother of your mother. People call me the 'undying light,' and my name is Alora Avila."

"My husband is the one with the white hair and red eyes. His name is Raphael Avila. He might look tough on the outside, but on the inside he's a real sweetheart."

As she blows Raphael a kiss. As Raphael gracefully accepts and returns the favor.

After the exchange of kisses, Raphael walks up to Moros and ruffles his hair, murmuring.

"Did I look this good when I was six, or did I look better?"

Looks down at Moros.

"100% better."

Alora snickers at his childish antics. And she pinches him.

"Arghhhh!"

In a high-pitched tone, which everyone present laughs at.

Alora then turns to face her daughter, her pride, her blood, her world.

"Have you found a potential wife for him?"

She asks with an innocent face.

Luna responds, "I have a couple of options, but we shouldn't push him into this, you know."

"I know, my dearest daughter." Kissing her on the cheek to Luna's embarrassment, making her blush.

Making her face turn red just like her eyes. As she averts her gaze from her parents towards her father- and mother-in-law. Who had been standing in the same place ever since Moros and she arrived.

The man with purple hair starts opening his mouth, yet no words come out. Only a look of pride was visible on his face. With his more lean frame compared to that of Raphael, just like the small frame of Moros. Known as the 'Seer of Eternity' and many others. And the woman standing next to him with the flowing black hair all the way down to her calves. Her golden eyes showing off the reason she's called the 'One of the Sun.' She was beaming and was the first one of the two to make a move towards their grandchild standing in front of them.

She opens her mouth. "Hello Moros,"

Moros answers. "Hello, Grandmother."

"Don't call me that; call me Pandora." As she walks towards the child. With the grass bowing to her in respect. Like a king giving peasants the chance of even seeing his majesty.

"Of course, Pandora," he says, smiling from ear to ear. As she ruffles up his already messy hair.

After the greeting of Pandora. Her husband starts walking up, looking into his eyes. He says. "You're destined for great things, Moros. I'm Calrik Xanthus, your grandfather, most commonly known as 'Seer of Eternity.'"

"I will try my best to fulfill the destiny you've foreseen." Beating his chest like a gorilla after winning a fight.

Smiling, Calrik turns around and ushers Moros to get on his shoulders. Moros obliges with his offer, seeing the world from a different perspective. As they make their way towards the mansion with the others following closely behind them.

With the mansion being no less impressive than the one Moros is used to. Moros starts thinking of how powerful his family is.

'Like they're all powerhouses.'

'They have to be at least above SSS rank in power, and their powers must be top tier as well. To be able to get such cool names and to look no more than 25. Once I awaken, I'll rise to their power no matter what, not to let them down. And not to let myself down.'

With his newfound resolve to surpass his parents and grandparents. They all sit themselves down at a table.

"I am sad that your husband can't come, Luna. "I wanted to see my son again, but alas, he's at war," said Pandora.

Luna only smiled in response. As the table grew quiet.

"Well, I'm excited for this young one's awakening," said Raphael.

"Honey, what do you think he's going to awaken?"

"I don't know, but I think it's going to be about a naturally found element or celestial objects."

"Well, it's going to be something along those lines or nothing of the sort; you know how the awakenings go. Generally about what the parents have, but sometimes there's a massive change with no relation to them. You never know. Right?" Said Calrik.

"Why don't you look into the future and find out?" asked Raphael.

"Because no one can find out what someone's going to awaken ahead of time. I can look at what he becomes eventually, but I have no idea of what he awakens."

"Boring." Raphael mutters under his breath.

With the conversation dragging on with the adults and Moros and Luna having to go back, they say their goodbyes.

"See you in 6 years, Moros," said Alora.

"See you, grandparents," Moros said before he disappeared from the spot he was standing.

Over the next 6 years, Moros worked tirelessly to try and perfect his sword skill and learn the history of the world. Waiting for his growth to be sufficient to leave and go to the academy.

Moros never saw his father for the next 6 years due to the rampaging war between the demons and other races.
