Planet Namek.
The scenery remained much the same as before.
Green waters stretched across the land, while blue grass swayed gently beneath the sky.
Yet the planet now carried a renewed vitality.
Near a lake, Grand Elder Moori watched a group of young Namekian children splashing and playing in the water.
Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared out of thin air.
"Yo, Grand Elder. Looking healthy as ever, huh?"
Krillin greeted him with a grin.
"Krillin!"
Moori rose to his feet in surprise and delight.
The young Namekians immediately gathered around, staring at the legendary bald hero with admiration shining in their eyes.
"Is something wrong?" Moori asked nervously.
"Has Frieza somehow returned?"
"Nah."
Krillin waved his hand dismissively.
"That guy's ashes were scattered long ago."
"I'm actually here to borrow someone."
He briefly explained Earth's current situation, along with Piccolo and Kami's plan to reunite.
After listening, Moori nodded with satisfaction.
"I see..."
"Katas' child is finally becoming whole again."
"That is wonderful news."
"As for a new Guardian..."
Moori turned his head toward a small figure in the distance.
A young Namekian was happily playing with mud.
"Dende!"
"Huh?"
Little Dende looked up.
His face was covered with dirt, and confusion filled his eyes.
"Come here."
Dende ran over as fast as he could.
The moment he saw Krillin, his face lit up.
"Uncle Krillin!"
"Dende."
Moori gently patted his head.
"Starting today, you're going to Earth."
"Earth?"
Dende tilted his head.
The antennae on his forehead wobbled slightly.
"That's right."
Krillin nodded.
"You're going there to become a god."
"A god?!"
Dende nearly jumped out of his skin.
"I can't do that!"
"I only know healing and making little models!"
"I'm not a fighter!"
"You don't need to fight."
Krillin scooped him up like a mascot.
"All you need to do is sit in the Lookout, watch over Earth, and create a stronger Shenron."
"But..."
"No buts."
Krillin cut him off immediately.
"The food on Earth is amazing."
"You can eat ice cream every day."
"I'll go!"
Dende's eyes instantly became firm with determination.
Earth.
The Lookout.
The moment Krillin returned with Dende, the atmosphere became noticeably solemn.
Kami looked down at the little Namekian, who wasn't even tall enough to reach his waist.
He could sense the pure magical power flowing within Dende.
It was as clear and flawless as crystal.
Kami nodded with approval.
"What a gifted child..."
"Far more talented than I was at his age."
He slowly handed over the sacred staff that symbolized the position of Guardian.
"My child."
"From this day forward, Earth will be in your care."
Dende carefully accepted the staff.
Looking at the elderly Guardian before him, knowing this would be their final meeting, his eyes began to redden.
Nearby, Mr. Popo stood silently.
For the first time in what felt like forever, tears streamed down his dark face.
"Kami..."
His voice trembled.
He had served many Guardians throughout the centuries.
But this Kami had been his companion the longest.
The one he had grown closest to.
"Popo."
Kami walked over and gently patted his stomach.
"Don't be sad."
"I'm not dying."
"I'm simply returning to what I was always meant to be."
"From now on, help the new Guardian."
"Yes..."
Popo wiped away his tears and nodded firmly.
After everything was settled, Kami turned toward Piccolo, who had been waiting quietly nearby.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
Piccolo crossed his arms and snorted.
"You talk too much."
"Let's get on with it."
"That disgusting energy is getting stronger by the minute."
Though his voice remained cold, Krillin noticed something.
Piccolo's fingers were trembling slightly.
Excitement.
Nervousness.
Anticipation.
The two Namekians stepped forward and faced each other.
Kami raised a hand and placed it against Piccolo's chest.
"All my wisdom."
"All my power."
"All my memories."
"From this moment on..."
"They belong to you."
Hum...
A brilliant white light erupted instantly.
The entire Lookout was swallowed by radiance.
The light wasn't blinding.
Instead, it carried a sacred presence that seemed to resonate with the soul itself.
Krillin activated the System Scan.
Numbers began flashing wildly across his vision.
Within the light, the two figures gradually overlapped.
Merged.
Became one.
There was no earth-shattering explosion.
No violent shockwave.
Everything felt completely natural.
Like two drops of water becoming a single drop.
When the light finally faded...
Only one Namekian remained.
At first glance, he looked exactly like Piccolo.
The same purple gi.
The same stern face.
The same imposing stature.
Yet something had changed.
His eyes.
Gone was the gaze of a warrior alone.
In its place was a profound depth.
Wisdom.
Calmness.
A divine presence.
He simply stood there.
Yet it felt as though the very air around him bowed in submission.
"Piccolo?"
Goku called out cautiously.
The Namekian turned around.
A faint smile appeared on his face.
A smile that would have been impossible for the old Piccolo.
"No."
His voice had become deeper.
It carried an unusual resonance.
"I am neither Kami..."
"Nor Piccolo."
"I am the Namekian who was always meant to exist."
Boom!
A tiny fraction of his aura leaked out.
Just a fraction.
The entire Lookout shook violently.
The sea of clouds beneath it was blasted apart in an instant, revealing the world tens of thousands of meters below.
Everyone present, except Krillin, Super Saiyan Goku, and Super Saiyan Vegeta, found themselves unable to stand upright beneath the pressure.
Krillin's system screen refreshed rapidly.
[Ding! High-Energy Lifeform Detected.]
Name: Piccolo (God-Demon Unified Body)
Race: Super Namekian
Power Level: 800,000,000
Status: Perfect fusion of wisdom and power. Spiritual strength has reached extraordinary levels.
Evaluation: One finger is enough to crush the former Frieza. Excluding Saiyan transformations, he is unquestionably the strongest fighter in his normal state.
"Eight hundred million..."
Even Krillin couldn't help feeling impressed.
It was still below Goku's full-power Super Saiyan level of one billion.
But this was Piccolo's normal state.
No transformation required.
And Namekians possessed countless unusual abilities.
Combined with Kami's wisdom and divine authority...
The current Piccolo had become a truly terrifying existence.
"This power..."
Piccolo lowered his gaze to his hands.
He clenched his fists.
Crack!
The air exploded within his palms.
"Not bad."
He slowly raised his head.
His gaze seemed to pierce through space itself.
Far to the north...
A sinister presence was lurking.
Waiting.
Growing.
A greedy, insatiable force hidden in the shadows.
