The light was blinding, and I felt myself being lifted off the ground. I was surrounded by a warm, comforting feeling, and I felt my mind expanding, as if it was being opened to new possibilities.
And then, I saw visions. Visions of the past and the future. Visions of the world in all its beauty and ugliness. Visions of the Queen and the ancient ones.
The visions were confusing, but they were also exhilarating. I felt like I was seeing the world for the first time, and it was a truly amazing sight.
And then, the visions stopped. The light faded, and I found myself back in the temple, standing in front of the ancient ones.
The Queen was beside me, looking at me with a concerned expression. Are you okay? she asked.
I nodded, still trying to process what I had just seen. I think so, I said.
The ancient ones smiled. You have passed the first test, they said. You have shown that you are worthy of our help.
I felt a surge of excitement and relief. What is the next test? I asked.
The ancient ones looked at each other, and then back at me. The next test is the hardest, they said. Are you sure you are ready?
I nodded, determination in my heart. I am ready, I said.
The ancient ones nodded. Then let us begin, they said.
And with that, they waved their hands, and the room began to spin around me.
