The gigantic spider lunged at the eight of them but before it could reach them, Luke took out a small ball from his pockets and threw it towards the spider.
"Explode" Luke said in a low voice.
The ball suddenly exploded exactly like a bomb. A shockwave came first, followed by gases expanding outwards. The explosion shook the entire cave but wasn't big enough to harm the team.
What also wasn't harmed was the spider. It was completely undamaged, in fact, there wasn't even a scratch on it or even a speckle of dust.
"Let me handle this" Barrett said, launching himself using his two feet. He held his greatsword high in the air and swung it vertically upon closing the distance, creating an air slash. However, before the flying air slash could reach, the spider had disappeared, leaving only a small blur behind for a moment.
Before anyone could realize, the spider had already appeared behind them and was about to pierce Ronx and carve a giant hole in his body using it's spiky leg.
But before the creature could, Ronx slashed it's leg and created a few spikes out of nothing but blood, which were floating in air, directly pointed at the spider.
Before the spider could even react, the spikes was launched at an extreme speed and it had pierced the spider's body before it could realize, causing the spider to growl uncontrollably, shaking the entire cave.
"ooo, that newcomer isn't that bad" Cilia said, slightly smiling and clearly impressed.
Before the spider could have a chance to retaliate, Luke took out his pocket knife and threw it directly at the spider, stabbing the creature in the body but that was not all as Luke said something in a low voice again and suddenly, the knife exploded, causing the spider to growl once again.
This time, the spider started to attack uncontrollably, it started to move around the entire cave aggressively, climbing the walls and crawling on the ceiling, making it hard for the group to keep up.
It also started to repeatedly try to stab them with it's leg and though most of them managed to dodge with ease, Ken wasn't so fortunate because as he was running from the attacks, one of them pierced his stomach, the spider's leg coming out of the other side.
Ken vomited blood uncontrollably and was quickly losing his consciousness. He could feel himself getting colder and his skin getting paler. He was only able to let out a faint cry for help.
"KEN!" Ronx shouted, immediately rushing to help him along with Alex.
Alex immediately cut down the spider's leg that had pierced Ken and grabbed him instantly, teleporting behind Elvis. "Heal him quick!"
But before Elvis could, Petro grabbed her head and slammed her into the wall.
"What are you doing?!"
"You know, I have always fucking hated you. It's time to take revenge" Petro said, putting on his brass knuckles.
"This is not the time!" Alex yelled.
"Yes it is" Petro answered back without hesitation, punching Elvis a few more times to make sure she was knocked out.

Meanwhile, Ronx jumped in the air and created blood out of thin air, gathering it all into a shape of a hammer, hardening it instantly once he got the shape perfectly.
But before he could crush the spider with the hammer, the creature shot out a web at Ronx, which caused him to be launched onto the wall. He tried to slash and tear the spider web but it was unusually hard and strong. "Augh! What is this material?!"
The spider then shot a green liquid out of it's mouth, which landed directly on Ronx, which melted his clothes and was about to melt his skin too.
"Didn't expect him to have a lean and muscular build" Cilia thought, licking her lips. "I guess I'll help him."
But before she could, Ronx somehow teleported out of the spider web. "I did...it, I teleported!" He thought, slightly smiling to himself.
But his smile quickly faded as the spider lunged at him at an extreme speed, before Ronx could react, the spider slashed him by using it's two giant claws, making two slash marks on his body.
And as if things couldn't get worse, Ronx suddenly fell to his knees, his skin purple and his veins about to pop. He coughed up blood and his vision was slowly fading. "Shit...must be the spider's poison..."
Ronx then fell to the ground, his body not moving.
"Ah...this must be it." Ronx thought, a slight smile forming on his face, though it wasn't a smile of happiness. "Uncle Dave must be worried about me...well, I guess I'll meet my parents in heaven soon. If there is one, that is."
His eyes lost it's color and his smile slowly faded.
