Neptune looked at her old friend, whom she hadn't seen in a while,e and asked, "What's this?"
While Neptune may not be the most qualified king, his ability to make friends is certainly impressive.
Whitebeard, Garp, Roger, and Rayleigh were his closest friends.
Fish-Man Island enjoyed a period of peace under the protection of the Whitebeard Pirates, but things declined day by day after the Marineford War.
"Didn't you say that Fish-Man Island hasn't been very stable lately? I've found you a new protector."
Rayleigh handed the pirate flag to Neptune, saying, "Hanging this up should be much more effective than Luffy's pirate flag."
"But... why is it so lively here?"
Rayleigh glanced around at the frenzied Fishman, Ja,,ck, and Doflamingo facing off in the square, and Saint Charloss, bleeding and posing as if committing suicide.
There are quite a few acquaintances here...
Neptune took the pirate flag, the red-nosed skull on it seemingly mocking him.
"Thank you… That's perfect, I don't need to do it in the first place…" Neptune managed a weak smile.
"What on earth is going on?" Rayleigh realized that things were not quite as he had expected.
"I am no longer the king of the Ryugu Kingdom," Neptune said. "I want Jack to be the new king."
Rayleigh's first thought was that Buggy had secretly targeted Fish-Man Island, but if that were the case, there was no reason for him to hide it from him.
Neptune explained the general outline of the events to Rayleigh, which cleared up his doubts.
"Should I tell Buggy …" Rayleigh said, "He doesn't know what's going on here."
This is just a misunderstanding; Buggy probably has no interest in Fish-Man Island.
"No need." Neptune suddenly felt relieved. "This is fine too."
Although Jack has not yet promised to become king, the hearts of the people of the Ryugu Kingdom have already turned to him.
Even if Rayleigh were to reclaim the throne, it wouldn't change anything from his previous situation.
Besides, there's the added problem of Saint Charloss...
So it seems Doflamingo is behind this again.
Rayleigh sensed traces of parasitic threads in Saint Charloss.
"Looks like you haven't learned your lesson from letting me go last time, Doflamingo!"
Rayleigh somewhat regretted letting him go last time, even though he ended up accomplishing nothing and had even tricked Blackbeard.
Doflamingo knew that his plan had failed again when he saw Rayleigh arrive.
But it doesn't matter, let's just add some more fun to the world.
Saint Charloss pulled the trigger, a gunshot rang out, and the resin bubble on his head burst.
Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Celestial Dragon Saint Charloss thus collapsed to the ground.
" Doflamingo!" Jack angrily stepped forward, but all that remained was a puppet clone.
The white silk threads dispersed, leaving only a transponder snail in place.
"Fufufufufufu~ I hope Poseidon has the power recorded in the records; otherwise, Fish-Man Island can just wait to be reduced to ruins..."
Neptune's expression changed instantly. Doflamingo already knew Shirahoshi's identity; Saint Charloss was merely his tool.
The ship docked in the port began to set sail, and all the crew members were controlled by the parasitic threads and turned into Doflamingo's puppets.
Unfortunately, Holy Land Mary Geoise can never return, and Celestial Dragons as foolish as Saint Charloss are hard to find anymore.
However, it could be a big news story; Morgans would definitely be interested in it.
Rayleigh went over to check on Saint Charloss's condition.
"Is there any chance of saving her?" Neptune still held a sliver of hope.
"He's beyond saving. His internal organs were all ripped apart by the silk threads. He would have died even without the gunshot wound." Rayleigh shook his head. " Doflamingo never intended for him to live."
"What should we do now?" Neptune knew what it meant for the Celestial Dragons to die on Fish-Man Island.
After receiving the message, the World Government will definitely launch a Buster Call.
"Calm down, Neptune. It's not as serious as you think."
Rayleigh, however, remained remarkably calm. " Buggy killed a Celestial Dragon in public, and he's still alive and well."
Besides, this is the second Celestial Dragon to die, so it shouldn't cause as much of a sensation as the first one.
"How can this be the same?" Neptune was speechless. If Fish-Man Island had the strength of the Four Emperors Crews, would this have happened?
" Doflamingo, what's the point of doing this?" Rayleigh said to the transponder snail. " The Celestial Dragons are dead, and you can't explain it to the World Government."
"Fufufufufufu~ You'll see my wanted poster again in a while. I've got some incredible secrets, and Gorosei should be more interested in killing me now." Transponder Snail let out a maniacal laugh.
"You betrayed the World Government?" Rayleigh wasn't surprised.
"I have never sided with them, so how could I have betrayed them?"
Transponder Snail smiled. "Want to know what secret I've got? You'll find out in the newspapers soon enough."
"You bastard…" Rayleigh had already guessed what Doflamingo's secret was: "Do you want to throw the whole world into chaos?"
"Isn't this what makes the world interesting?"
Doflamingo ended the call, a playful smile on his face. "Next, it's time to notify those old fogies."
He contacted Gorosei, and they answered immediately.
" Doflamingo, do you know how serious your crime is?"
Transponder Snail said seriously, "Waiting for you..."
"Shut up, you five idiots!" Doflamingo didn't mince words with Benn and Gorosei. "That idiot Saint Charloss died on Fish-Man Island. You should know what to do!"
"You did it, didn't you?" Gorosei never thought Doflamingo would come back alive after he learned that Doflamingo had taken Saint Charloss out.
"You want us to launch a Buster Call on Fish-Man Island? We won't let you have your way."
" Saint Charloss is nothing but a fool. The dead Celestial Dragons are worthless, just like your parents…"
"Your parents were stupid enough, and you're just as stupid, insisting on choosing a dead end..."
Doflamingo listened silently to Gorosei's taunts and only spoke after they had finished.
"The news of Saint Charloss's death on Fish-Man Island will soon spread throughout the world."
"We don't care about him, we've already lost one anyway…" Gorosei said.
"Also spreading throughout the world were the ancient weapons Pluton and the locations of Poseidon and Uranus!"
"Where did you get the information about the Heavenly King's location?" Transponder Snail looked shocked. "There's no record of the Heavenly King in the records!"
" The Celestial Dragons' national treasure is the Heavenly King!" Doflamingo sneered. "Isn't it located in the Holy Land, Mary Geoise?"
"That's just your guess! You have no evidence!" Transponder Snail glared menacingly at Doflamingo.
"Fools, once the news about Pluton and Poseidon is confirmed, the world will naturally believe that the King is in Holy Land Mary Geoise."
"Whether it's true or not doesn't matter. Ambitious people will naturally go to Holy Land Mary Geoise to verify it. I just want to see Holy Land Mary Geoise become lively."
