đ The Little Lantern
Once upon a time, in a quiet village by the river, there lived a boy named Arif. Every evening, he would sit by the water and watch the stars appear one by one. But one night, the sky was covered with heavy clouds, and no stars could be seen.
Feeling sad, Arif lit a small lantern and whispered, "If the stars cannot shine tonight, maybe my lantern can take their place." He placed the lantern on a wooden boat and pushed it gently into the river. The glowing light floated away, dancing on the waves.
Soon, other children saw what Arif had done. They brought their own lanterns, and together they filled the river with hundreds of tiny lights. The villagers gathered, smiling at the magical sight. Even though the stars were hidden, the river itself had become a sky of shining lanterns.
From that night on, whenever the clouds covered the stars, the villagers lit their lanterns and sent them down the riverâremembering that even in darkness, light can be created by human hands and shared with others.
