The Clockmaker Who Collected Sunsets
In a forgotten town where trains no longer stopped and maps slowly erased its name, there stood a narrow shop wedged between a silent bakery and a bookstore that had not sold a book in twenty years. The sign above the shop swung in the wind, creaking like an old memory:

No one remembered when Elias Rowan first arrived. Some said he came after the Great Storm. Others believed he had always been there, as permanent as the cracked cobblestones. He was thin, with silver hair that seemed to glow at dusk, and eyes the color of storm clouds just before rain.
