Chapter 132 - OPHK: Chapter 132

A few days later, from the Navy warship to the ship's railing, the setting sun gradually disappeared below the horizon, and the entire sky slowly darkened. About a few kilometers away, an island came into view. Its large port and bay, similar to the entrance bay of Marine Headquarters, were crescent-shaped.

"That's Isana!"

Vice Admiral Sid of Marine Headquarters said, "If we attack head-on, we'll alert the pirates and give them a chance to escape. So, we'll proceed with an infiltration plan. It's full of pirates inside, so we'll send a quarter of our soldiers disguised as pirates to infiltrate. I and the remaining personnel will wait for the signal and prepare for a full-scale assault. The plan has already been discussed. Alright, soldiers willing to execute the infiltration plan, step forward!"

However, including Sid, over five hundred soldiers on the ship didn't notice that as they entered the waters of Isana Island, a golden light flew towards the island.

On the edge of the island, the golden light slowly coalesced into a human silhouette. Opening his eyes, Grimm returned to his original form.

"It's been a few years since I've been to the first half of the Grand Line!"

Grimm muttered to himself and walked towards the town. "Pirate Town, how interesting!"

As soon as he stepped into the town entrance, he could hear all sorts of sounds and see all sorts of depraved scenes.

This scene made Grimm laugh out loud.

A person walking by the roadside had their head severed by another person who burst out from a corner. Then, the body and wallet were snatched. However, before the assailant could even open the wallet to count the money, they were shot dead by another person.

This could be tolerated, after all, it was for money.

But playing mosaic games on the main road was too much!

And there were many onlookers cheering, "Hold it in, don't ejaculate, hold it in, don't ejaculate…"

Truly a twisted sense of humor.

"Trash everywhere. These people would be lucky to go to hell!"

Grimm said this without regard for the surrounding scene, but his voice was quickly drowned out by the surrounding noise.

Grimm sat in a tavern restaurant on Isana. All around him were noisy pirates, bounty hunters, and other lawless individuals like thugs.

On a large sofa at the far end of Grimm's right, a burly man with a green pompadour was embracing a beautiful, fair-skinned woman with wine-red hair, perfectly illustrating the meaning of "a pig getting into cabbage." However, looking at the color of the pompadour, it was likely he wasn't getting into a fresh cabbage, but a rotten one.

What Grimm didn't expect was that no one recognized him when he entered here in his true form. This was the complete opposite of his treatment in the New World, where he would be met with gasps of admiration wherever he went.

Could it be that everyone here was as foolish as Luffy? Not gathering intelligence, and not even recognizing important figures among the Navy and pirates?

Actually, it wasn't entirely like that. It was just a coincidence. Grimm happened to encounter this situation, and his bounty poster was glowing golden, so his actual appearance would naturally have a reduced recognition factor.

Furthermore, with Big Mom being so active lately, the news headlines were almost entirely dominated by her. Grimm's fame was temporarily overshadowed by Big Mom's.

"First time here, kid? What's your bounty!"

Just as Grimm was contemplating whether to snatch the beauty from the green-haired burly man to his right for some fun, a man, so thin he was just skin and bones, with a skull and crossbones pirate emblem tattooed on his chest, sat down in front of Grimm.

"What do you want!"

Grimm looked at the man with an amused expression.

"No, I just want to bet with you!"

The man, with a blue bandana wrapped around his forehead and his hair styled like a sharp tower, said with a sly grin.

"Hey, hey, is that Hachini guy trying to scam someone new to town again?"

"Hahaha, what new trick is he playing this time?"

The sharp-haired man sat down in front of Grimm, immediately drawing the attention of everyone in the tavern. They all looked at Grimm with ill intentions, thinking this young brat was in for some trouble!

Mockery, laughter, sympathy, pity!

"What are we betting on?" Grimm, also bored, wanted to see what this "Hachini" was up to.

"Of course, we're betting money! I, Hachini, don't do life-or-death bets. I'm quite afraid of dying!" Hachini said with a playful smile.

"Oh? How do you want to play?" Grimm temporarily set aside his thought of snatching the green-haired guy's woman and focused his attention on this "Hachini."

"So, you agree? How much cash can you bring?" Hachini showed a triumphant smile.

Grimm casually reached into his clothes and pulled out a thick wad of cash, about ten centimeters thick, totaling a million Belly.

"Oh, not bad!"

Hachini took the wad of cash Grimm threw and counted it. "Exactly one million. Then, I'll put up two million."

With a snap of his fingers, Hachini took out a wad of cash from his waist pouch that was twice as thick as Grimm's.

"Can you explain the rules now?" Grimm asked.

"Of course!"

Hachini placed the two wads of cash together, making them about thirty centimeters thick. Then, he pulled a thirty-centimeter-long dagger from his pant leg and explained with a smile, "We'll place the Belly on our palms and stab the money on our palms with this knife until the last bill. In the end, whichever party stabs all their money gets to keep it all. You put up 100,000, and I'll put up 200,000. How about it, a great deal, right!"

It sounded like Grimm was getting the better end of the deal, but from the knowing smiles of the others in the tavern, it was clear that Hachini had scammed many people before. Each time, it seemed like he was at a disadvantage, luring people into a trap. This time was likely no different.

"Let's begin!" Grimm said concisely.

"Good, straightforward!"

Hachini handed the cash and the dagger to Grimm, smiling. "You're the guest, please go first!"

Grimm smiled slightly. He could easily pierce all the bills with force and take all the money, but he intended to lose on purpose to see what this skinny monkey was up to.

When they saw Grimm pick up the dagger without hesitation and stab directly at the bills on his palm, many in the tavern were startled, sighing that this kid had some guts…

But when they saw Grimm only stab a small stack of bills, Hachini nodded. "400,000 Belly. Not bad!"

After taking the dagger and the remaining cash, Hachini grinned sinisterly and suddenly stabbed fiercely through the rest of the bills. His palm, however, didn't bleed a single drop.

"The last bill is counterfeit…" Grimm immediately saw through his trick.

The last bill wasn't real money but a counterfeit made of a material that felt soft but was extremely hard. Therefore, no matter how hard Hachini tried, he couldn't pierce that bill.
