October 10th The 49th Year of Konoha
It was a quiet night in Konoha, the full moon shone brightly in the sky and a gentle breeze flew throughout the village, no different from most nights in the village, well at least that's what most of the villagers thought. But for some of the more sensitive ninja there was a bad smell in the air, this smell felt uncomfortable and sent an unease through their bones. But just then the village's Sensor Corps noticed a large amount of chakra gathering and the space itself folding. But before they could even think what to do it was too late.
POOOF!!! A giant crash was heard throughout the area and a huge cloud of smoke blocked off the view of the villagers but then a roar erupted from the smoke cloud, dispersing the smoke. Many villagers look over in confusion and shock. And just then all throughout Konoha ninjas immediately rushed out and jumped on the highest building they could to scout what was happening, but as they saw the shadow of the giant fox and began to sense the immense chakra emanating from the fox their knees felt weak.
Over at the Uchiha Clan Compound
The village was abruptly thrown into total chaos.
Uchiha Fugaku stared at the cloud of dust rising up off in the distance from the
roof of the Konoha Military Police Force headquarters, his face grim. His aides,
The best and brightest of the Uchiha clan stood around him, waiting.
"Oh! That's ... " white-haired Yashiro murmured from his left.
Fugaku had already discerned the cause of the commotion with his own eyes.
"N-Nine Tails ... " This from Inabi at his right. Long black hair pulled up, Inabi
desperately tried to stop himself from trembling in fear.
Fugaku cast sidelong glances at his subordinates, their fear on full display, and
Then stared resolutely at the reality before them. "No mistake. It's Nine Tails."
Out of the dust cloud rising up in the center of the village crawled nine tails,
writhing like serpents. The tails converged on the body of a burnt-orange beast,
a sinister fox roaring as if to swallow up the full moon hanging in the sky. A beast
of legend, here to wreak havoc on this world.
"Send a unit to the scene immediately. I'll go, too."
"Lord Fugaku, you intend to set out yourself?" Yashiro's voice quivered as he
asked the question.
"Of course!" Fugaku shouted, even as his eyes remained fixed on Nine Tails. He
could hear bellowing and shrieking from every corner of the village. Given that
the figure of the monster was no doubt visible from all areas of Konoha, even places not yet under attack wouldn't be exempt from the confusion, once the people there caught sight of Nine Tails. "This might be the biggest disaster to befall the village since its founding. Do you think I can just sit back and watch at a time like this? Me, the chief of the Military Police Force?"
"But ... " Yoshiro stopped talking before he finished. Going near Nine Tails meant risking death. Some of the ninja hurrying to the scene had likely already been sacrificed. It was no small wonder Yashiro was scared.
"I have never once begrudged my life to do my job."
"Chief ... " Tears blurred Yashiro's thin eyes.
"The only thing that can control Nine Tails is the sharingan of the Uchiha clan.
If we don't hurry, stopping it will be impossible."
"Chief!" His aide Tekka appeared, panting as though he had run up the stairs.
From the ghostly mien of his capable subordinate, Fugaku guessed that
something alarming had happened.
"What is it?"
"Instructions have come down from top brass. The police are instructed to
strengthen the village defenses."
"What did you say?" Fugaku glared at Tekka, doubting his own ears.
Cleverly grasping his superior's anger, Tekka gave voice to his own supposition.
"Only the sharingan can control the Nine-Tails. Brass likely has misgivings-"
"Are you saying that this commotion is our fault ?! " Yashiro shouted. Fugaku understood so well it hurt. The Uchiha clan was part of Konoha. They had no reason to release a creature like Nine Tails and bring about this chaos. If whoever was controlling Nine Tails avoided just their own home, they would obviously soon be a suspect. No one in the clan would do something so foolish. Not to mention that the raging beast before his eyes was rampaging indiscriminately. If a member of the clan had indeed summoned it, they had basically called disaster down upon their own self as well. At the very least, it could not be the work of any Uchiha currently living in the village.
"Tell them, understo-" he began to tell Tekka bitterly.
"Tell them to fuck off" a young voice called out
All of them turned to the side to see a young boy jump up from the ground. Fugaku turned to see Roku, One of the twin stars of the Uchiha, Him and Shuisui rose to fame at the tail end of the war for their insane speed.
Fugaku Spoke up "Roku i understand your anger but we must follow the villages orders"
Roku looked at Fugaku annoyed "I am the head of the 4th Hokage's guard, i am recruiting you and the couple dozen or so Uchiha elites to stop the nine tails and protect Minato and his family"
Fugaku thought for a second and the reason sounded feasible but he didn't want to disobey a direct order especially at such a volatile time. Before he could voice his concerns Roku cut him off.
"Fugaku you are under 2 misconceptions, First that the 3rd Hokage's orders mean jack shit to me, much less the elders. Minato in the Head of the village only his orders matter and its my job to protect him the 3rd Hokage has no right to impede that, 2nd mistake is that it was a suggestion it was an order" The Boy Told him
"Obey or Die" He coldly spat, then activating his 3 Tomoe and drawing his sword
Fugaku was surprised, as he looked at this 14 year old boy that he had watched grow up and now he was threatening to kill him? He felt amused, but thinking about it the boy was right the higher brass were a thing for another day right now all that mattered was the village.
He laughed "Your right Roku, i was too Short sighted"
He looked back at all the Uchiha surrounding him and told them to obey Roku's orders
Roku looked around at the gathered forces, "All of Those that aren't Elite jonin your job is to evacuate the injured and the villagers" He announced, a lot of the hot headed ninja wanted to protest and fight along side their elders but just then looking into his blood red eye and and his blood red sword the fear that went down their body help them understand why he was called was so feared. And the set of to evacuate the villagers
He then spoke to the large number of elite jonin gathers and began to give orders. "All those specializing in ninjutsu and those specializing in Genjutsu split into 2 groups". He then turned to Genjutsu group "Fugaku you take them and follow a little behind and find a good vantage point from behind the fox, when i make an opening i was you all to cast a combined Genjutsu on the fox and control it to stop". "And the Ninjutsu group you should-". Before he could Finish he was cut off by Fugaku. "What do u mean Make an opening, you cant even get close" he asked out of fear of the boys overconfidence.
Roku smiled. "Believe me you will know when to act, and don't worry i know my limits". Fugaku, although not sure, decided to trust the kid. Roku then began again "Ninjutsu Ninjas Your Job is to give me an opening you will cross from the front of the fox and when i launch a flare you use a composite ninjutsu to distract it".
Fugaku began to question the plan but a look from Roku stopped him, "We already are low on time trust me" He smiled. He then noticed a woman drop down with 2 giant scrolls in her hands, "Good you got here in time" he then grab the scrolls and tossed them to Fugaku, "One scroll contains main smaller scrolls that you all win input ocular power into, it should allow you all to focus all you Ocular Power into one Jutsu, Fugaku this scroll will allow you to use all that Ocular power in one Genjutsu. All everyone needs to do is to signal focus all their Ocular into their own small scrolls".
Fugaku look down at the huge scroll, it was an old invention of the Uchiha but had rarely ever been used for many reasons, a lot of the Ocular Power was lost with the transfer, it need a Kage level Uchiha to cast the Jutsu, The Genjutsu its self was strong but the commotion of the large gathering of Uchiha's made it hard to cast and it couldn't be used more than once in a short time. The scrolls also cost a lot of money and time to be, he wondered when Roku had had these made.
Before he could voice his thoughts Roku already set off towards the raging beast calling over his back. "Ninjutsu Group Follow all of her orders", point towards the masked girl that brought the scrolls.
