Jaxon, flunked by OTM is seen in a backstage segment. The interviewer walks towards them.
"Gentleman, a moment of your time. Today you all have the chance to win champions respectfully. But, the question on everyone's mind is that, it's that with Jaida Parker seemingly focused on other this isJaxon Carter the newest member of OTM?"
Price and Nima flinched at the interviewer, but Carter called them off. He took off his glasses, snatched the mic and spoke on a low but deep voice.
"Look. Let me indulge you a little, no I'm not the leader of OTM. These two are my brothers, and there's no leadership in brotherhood. We've been tight since I met them when we came through those doors. And while they got signed I was rejected by the system. You know why? Not because I wasn't 'Good enough' but simply cause they knew what a threat we'd pose if the three of us were united. Now, a couple years later the same System that tried to keep me out was left with no option but to let me in. And as for Jaida, she's the 'Mud Queen' and will always be. With that being said, today we would like to dedicate our wins to Jaida. And to the 'Vanity Project' today you're gonna learn the hard way that once you swim in this mud, you ain't never making it out."
Just like that he put on his glasses as his music hits and he headed out to the ring to confront his opponent. Their match was the opening match to the stand and Deliver card.
"The following contest is set for one-fall.(One Fall) And it's for the WWE Evolve Championship... Introducing first the Challenger. Weighting at a 265 Ibs, from Pretoria South Africa, Jaxon Carter."
The crowd reacted in mixed cheers and boos.
"And his opponent, he is the WWE Evolve Champion, representing the Vanity Project. Jackson Drake."
(Commentary)
"Book, what are your thoughts on this match?"
"Jackson Drake has got a lot of work cut off for him. His at a power disadvantage, and you can't count out the Experience factor as well. Carter is a man who traveled across the word to horn his skills , so Drake has got a lot on his plate."
(Back to the ring)
The referee just signed for the bell. Jaxon took his usual slow walk to the center of the ring. His gaze piercing through Jackson, who charged at Jaxon and was met with a hellish uppercut that knocked him off his feet. Jaxon took his slow walk, grabbed Drake by the hair and got him to stand. He than proceed to look at the Camera
"Take a good look, this is what happens when you mess with OTM."
He said, before running to the ropes for momentum to deliver a big kick to the temple of Drake, the force was so strong that it sent Drake over the top rope.
(Commentary)
"My good , Booker. Talk about a kick."
"I know, right? That was right there was a work of art."
As Drake hit the floor, Jaxon followed. His pace not changing, he took the time to soak in all the boos and cheers he was receiving from the audience. As he reached Drake, he tried to pick him up , but Drake responded with a shots to the mid section. But all they seemed to do was pass of Jaxon even more.
He hit Drake with a massive headbutt, sending the champion to his knees. Grabbed him by the legs as he set in the middle of the barricade and proceeded to swing him side to side. Causing Drake to hit face first on both sides.
"Oh, talk about a unique way to use the barricade. Shades of former WWE superstar Cesaro. But Jaxon has to get the champion back in the ring before the count of 10."
Jaxon rolls back into the ring to break the count. After he heads out again to continue his work on Drake, he drops a heavy knee right into Drake's sternum, forcing the air out of the Champion's lungs. He then transitions into a grounded bearhug, wrapping his massive arms around Drake's midsection while digging his chin into Drake's shoulder.
"Talk about shear dominance from the Challenger."
Vic Added on Commentary.
Jaxon still holding Drake stared a whole in Baylor and Smoke watching on.
"This is your king? The best that Vanity has? Huh?"
He said, with his voice audible over the crowd.
[Commentary]
V.J:
"Look at the torque Carter is putting on the spine of the Champion! Drake is turning purple!"
Booker
"He's tenderizing him, Vic! He's breaking the ribs so the Spear hits even harder later on. That's veteran psychology right there!"
Jaxon hearing the official reach 7 rolls back into and out of the ring to break the count yet again. This time he takes his time admiring his work. But that mistake would cost him. As he exits the ring, Drake manganes to push Jaxon into the edge of the ring apron. But he didn't stop there. He grabbed Jaxon and pushed him into the ring post.
"Oh, desperation move by the champion. But it was effective, he finally has a moment to catch his breath."
Drake, hammers away with a vicius rights to the temple of Jaxon. He then heads to the announce table as he starts clearing it out. But, this will also cost him as he took too much time getting there (due to the rib injury.)
As he turns, he is met by a spear that nearly cuts him in half. Jaxon, now enraged picked up Drake's lifeless body like a sack of potatoes and hit him with a 'Razors Edge' onto the Edge of the ring apron. He then proceed to throw Drake's lifeless body into the ring.
Jaxon goes for the pin.
"One... two...thr-"
Drake kicks out. This further infuriates Jaxon, who waisted no time in immediately assaulting him with a verity of punches.
"Someone get in there and stop this. This is beyond wrestling!!"
"I wouldn't recommend that, Vic. I've seen men like Jaxon before, he will mold who ever dares."
Jaxon, now finally off of(Pause) Drake goes to the corner. He wa waits for Drake to get up, but he kept falling to his knees. Jaxon seeing this does a frame gesture with his hands with Drake's face in the center. He comes running at high speed and boom, he delivers the punt kick to Drake. Followed by dragging him to the center if the ring and locking in the Guillotine submission, leaving the official with no choice to call the match off as Drake was left there lifeless.
"The winner of this match as a result of knockout and 'NEEEEEW' WWE Mens Evolve Champion, Jaxon Carter."
The arena went silent. Although they knew this wasn't going to be a traditional wrestling match, they didn't think it would be this cruel to watch. Jaxon, flunked by OTM stood in the center of the ring staring down Smokes and Baylor who were even terrified to step foot inside the ring after the carnage they just witnessed.
