Chapter 63 - Chapter 63: Echoes after the strom

A Quiet Morning

The ocean was calm again.

Gentle waves brushed against the shore of Azurebay Town.

No storms.

No chaos.

Only silence.

Standing at the edge of the water—

Elior watched the horizon.

"…It feels different now."

Behind him, his team rested:

Infernyx lay calmly

Thundrion sparked softly

Riolu trained its aura

Lunashade stood quietly apart

Elior looked at them.

"…We've all grown."

But his gaze lingered on Lunashade.

"…And you…"

Lunashade didn't move.

But its shadow flickered unnaturally.

Footsteps approached.

Nerion stood beside him.

"The ocean has accepted you… for now."

Elior smiled slightly.

"…Then I guess I still have more to prove."

Nerion nodded.

"You do."

A pause.

Then—

"Are you ready for your rematch?"

Elior turned.

His eyes were no longer uncertain.

"…Yes."

No hesitation.

No doubt.

Just determination.

Nerion crossed his arms.

"Good."

"Tomorrow. At the Gym.

Later that day—

Elior stood on the beach.

Training.

But not like before.

"Thundrion… wait for the wave."

The tide rose.

"Now—move with it!"

Thundrion dashed forward—

Perfect timing.

"Good."

"Infernyx—don't fight the water."

Infernyx hesitated.

Then adjusted—

Its flames burned more steadily.

Controlled.

Not forced.

Elior smiled.

"…That's it."

Lunashade's Mystery

At a distance—

Lunashade stood alone.

Watching.

Its shadow stretched unnaturally across the sand.

For a brief moment—

Its eyes glowed darker than before.

Almost…

Unfamiliar.

Elior noticed.

"…Lunashade?"

It returned to normal instantly.

Silent again.

But something had changed.

Far from the coast—

Inside a dark chamber—

Umbrael stood before a massive screen.

Data flickered.

Energy readings.

Resonance patterns.

And one specific signal—

Lunashade.

"…The key has appeared."

A figure beside him spoke carefully:

"Shall we proceed?"

Umbrael smiled faintly.

"Not yet."

A pause.

"Let it grow."

Darkness pulsed across the room.

Final Scene

Back at the shore—

The sun began to set.

Golden light reflected across the water.

Elior stood silently.

Tomorrow—

He would face the ocean again.

But this time—

He wasn't the same trainer.

And the journey continues....
