Taesan's POV
I take the lead and Seoha walks behind me as we go towards the meeting room.
From the hallways I can hear the noise coming from the room. They seem happy to meet again…have they forgotten who they work for?
"Welcome sir" an employee greets and holds the door open for me.
The conversations and exchange of pleasantries die down as soon as I step in. The atmosphere suddenly grows heavy and it's just the way I like it.
Tension. Reverence. Respect.
The smell of fear leaks through someone's patch and my alpha feeds off it.
How have we gone this long without showing someone the gate of hell? When did I last smell fear in its ugly form?
'Our omega keeps us sane; we don't need it' my alpha responds.
The fearful silence grows into something colder as Seoha walks in behind me.
