Taesan's phone dings again, and it's a message about fabrics being paid for.
I push it aside. Nothing useful has been delivered since I took the phone from his pocket.
My fingernails are short from how much I have been biting on them. Nothing is going the way I envisioned and it's starting to offend me.
My son, Hanbin, is barely breathing in the corner.
He hasn't joined his mother in death and it's only because he's needful to me.
He refuses to tell me anything he knows about the Kang clan, but it doesn't stop me from torturing him.
Everyone breaks. He will break and give me what I need to have. He will give me his brother's location.
"Boss…we lost signal again. Someone is deliberately messing with Seoha's phone and he's nowhere to be found no matter what I do" one of my men says and I bang my fists on the table.
Time and fate are not on my side.
