Emily hadn't slept.
Since the boat docked at Threshold Port — four hours after the fight, the sun lowering over the Eastern Island's horizon — Emily had worked without stopping. Purifying Light active in sustained healing mode, Seraph's F6 channel temporarily yielded to amplify the range, Emily moving from one team member to the next with the precision of someone who had catalogued exactly what each one needed and in what order.
Raven first. The internal damage to the left side — the angel's impact at minute four of the fight, sustained for forty minutes while Raven kept F3 active with HP at zero. Purifying Light working on the damaged tissue layer by layer, the process slower than Emily wanted because the damage was deeper than Seraph's initial assessment had indicated.
Two hours on Raven. Then Emily moved to herself — her own injuries unattended while she attended to the team's.
