The blue screen dissappeared into nothing, his heart felt as if it was about to explode, the world around him started to spin. He was standing in a forest of God knows what "Fuck, fuck, fuck what do we fucking do?"
"First stand back on you legs and study the surroundings." A voice in his mind spoke he had named that specific voice Garrick a brilliant mind among them.
Kaelen took a deep breath in he started looking around, he was standing in the middle of a forest in the distant were mountains "The mountains they can make for good shelter." He thought
"Are you blind? Didn't you fucking see the quest we need to kill someone, let's find a person first."
"No the quest window didn't say we needed to kill people we just need to kill a living being Lucian." he spat out
"Oh you're so righteous Elian let me give you a peace award before we fucking die!"
Their argument was cut short as they heard a snapping sound behind them Kaelen turned his head almost instantly behind him their worst outcome was standing.
A small creature longer arms than necessary, stubby legs, bald head, sharp nose, moss coloured skin with bloches of white and black scattered on it like that of a chess board and a white dagger in it's hand with a yellow glint on it's tip, it looked disgusting no that word doesn't do it justice.
It was a goblin a monster as strong as three adults humans, Kaelen might have nine people's personality but he was one person.
"Fuck, run." As Kaelen turned around to run Garrick stopped him.
"What if their are more deeper in the forest we can't take the risk just kill it."
"It has a blade Garrick and is probably laced with something worse than poison I can't possibly best it."
"Let me try." Varkas switched with Kaelen in confidence and then began the struggle.
The goblin closed the distance and tried to pounce on Varkas's leg but he dodged just in time "oh you bastard you wanna play dirty, huh?"
Varkas picked up a few rocks front he ground and threw them at its face and hand, the goblin's dagger fell out of it's hand and using the moment Varkas punched it's head with all the strength he could muster.
A crack sound rang out from both his hand and the goblin's skull, the goblin fell, three of Varkas's fingers were facing towards him broken in several places the pain was unreal.
Varkas turned to leave then he realised the quest window hadn't popped up that meant, the goblin but into Varkas's leg.
"You little piece of shit!" Varkas screamed the goblin ripped a chunck of his calf out, he could barely stand "Oh, you are so dead!"
Varkas pounced on the goblin pinning it down under his weight, the goblin had one of his eyes popped out because of the earlier punch and didn't see the attack coming.
Varkas looked around and found a stone and picked it up, and smashed it into the goblin's head again and again and again and again until the status window popped up covering the bloodly pulp of the poor creature.
Kaelen switched in seeing the message that Varkas had created he retching and expelled all that he had eaten that day his throat was on fire.
The adrenaline subsided and the pain of both his foot and and right arm became too much before he would faint he switched with Garrick.
"Fuck, holy fuck this hurts." Garrick used what strength their body has left and picked himself up picking up the dagger that the goblin had dropped and he found a sturdy stick to distribute his weight and slowly hop to a safe place.

Ok atleast something for the struggle Garrick thought soon enough he found a small cave near the foot of a mountain he threw a rock inside the cave first to check if something was inside, nothing he went inside the cave.

In a corner was Lucian who had treated both the wound on his leg and arm with make shift first aid kits he hadripped his cloth and tied it around his leg and while sitting there supported by the wall of the cave he started experimenting with the inventory feature he had.
Two hours later he had figured out a few things.
First that the inventory can not contain enormous things and can only keep up to a certain size of objects.
Second anything thrown into the inventory would retain its velocity when it is taken out of the inventory he learned this after he threw the dagger which they had picked up from the goblin and tried taking it out and it shot past him.
And third that the inventory could unstore items with a thought so they practically had a gun with a one time use limit.
Before he could find something new the system screen showed up.

Their hand and leg healed making the first aid that Lucian provided obselete, he removed the bandges.
"Hey idiots wake up we gotta choose a weapon I am thinking of a rapier since it's light and is long range enough to be out of biting radius." Before anyone could object or Varkas could ask for a big ass sword a rapier appeared in front of him.
"Well, that's it I guess wanna check out the stats."
