For a split second, her composure faltered, her body shifting backward slightly in surprise.
From across the room, Oliver noticed immediately. "Isabella, are you alright?" he called out, his tone edged with concern.
Lucas turned as well.
And in that exact moment, Logan reacted.
His eyes flicked toward Lucas—and whatever he saw there made him drop his gaze instantly, lowering himself slightly as though trying to disappear into the floor itself, remembering Falcon's warning echoing clearly in his mind:
Do not get caught.
Isabella forced herself to recover.
"Oh—it's nothing," she said quickly, her voice just steady enough to pass, as she straightened up. "I was just trying on a shoe… and apparently, it wasn't my size."
Oliver frowned, clearly unconvinced. "Then try another one," he said bluntly. "Don't force your… rather large foot into something it doesn't belong in."
