Adrian was taken to the pack healer, and by midnight he was stable. Apart from a few broken ribs and the bruises that covered his body, there was nothing life-threatening wrong with him.
Still, he left the healer's quarters long before he was properly discharged.
The old healer had insisted he was not well enough to walk around, let alone leave the infirmary, but Adrian ignored him. He chose to leave anyway.
There was only one thing on his mind.
He needed to see his father.He needed answers.
He needed to ask the question that had been burning through him since the duel ended.
Why?
