Enzo held Arabella's hands as they left his bedchamber, both of them wearing satisfied smiles. There was a lightness in Arabella's heart as they walked together, still carrying the warmth of the moments they had shared.
"I want you to move in with me after we visit my family's grave. I don't want you leaving for your bedchamber again," Enzo said as they made their way toward the entrance of the woods, where everyone who cared to participate in the run had already gathered.
Arabella looked at Enzo and nodded with a smile.
"Let's do that," she said, and Enzo squeezed her hands gently.
The moon was already so bright in the sky, giving the entire Citadel a warm glow. Its light spread across the palace and the surrounding woods, making the night feel almost magical.
The number of people gathered for the run was so massive that Arabella couldn't see the end of the crowd. Lycans filled the area around the entrance of the woods.
