Synopsis
In her first life, she married her killer. This time, she married his nightmare. Sienna Mason was the adopted daughter of the Mason family— married off to the millionaire, Tom Blackwell. But instead of loving his wife, Tom gave his heart and his loyalty to her own sister, Ruby Mason. On the day Sienna gave birth to her daughter, she was left to bleed on a hospital bed. Her newborn died in her arms, and Sienna didn’t survive. When she opened her eyes again, she had traveled four years back, before the wedding. Before the betrayal. This time, she refused to be anyone’s victim and decided to play smart. This time, she signed a contract marriage with Hunter Levisay –a nobody, a so-called jobless man with no background and no power. At least, that’s what everyone believed. Sienna was ready to make them pay for every tear she had shed. But she didn’t expect the man beside her to be even more ruthless than the enemies in front of her. The world thought that her husband was a broke freeloader, living off his wife’s name. No one knew that he wasn’t just rich. He wasn’t a millionaire like Tom Blackwell. He was a billionaire with a capital B! And he would destroy anyone who dared to touch his wife. Now, Sienna is trapped between revenge and a husband who looks at her like he’s ready to burn the world for her.

Chapter 1 - 1- Darkness

It was Thursday afternoon when Sienna Blackwell finally gave up on life. The weight of her baby girl on her chest was too heavy to bear.

Her daughter's little body was unmoving; her tiny face was already losing color. Sienna stared at the little angel through blurred vision. Her throat was raw from screaming for help that never came.

Just two hours ago, the surgeon had cut her open and pulled the baby out of her body.

A C-section.

After getting done with the surgery, they hadn't even bothered to stitch her belly and left her there to die. Blood soaked the sheets beneath her, but no one returned.

She was meant to bleed out slowly. Her husband had planned it all along, and she was too innocent to see it. It was useless to wait for him – to ask him for help.

She looked down at her innocent daughter's face, already turning blue.

"Oh, sweetheart," She sobbed, turning her head on the pillow, "I'm so sorry."

Her soft cries stopped when she heard her sister's voice from the outside, "I've already divorced my husband. Will you marry me, Tom?" She was shamelessly asking her sister's husband to marry her.

"Patience, dear," Her husband, Tom Blackwell's cruel voice reached her ears, "She's still alive," He sighed, "And that little …" he trailed off, disgust clear in his voice.

"Yeah. That little piece of shit— I know," Ruby laughed, "The baby isn't even yours, sweetheart. Then what difference does it make?" Her voice rose a bit.

She wanted Sienna to hear this.

Sienna wanted to defend herself. She couldn't speak. The words refused to form. The baby was Tom's legitimate daughter. Ruby was lying.

Tom didn't even bother to ask for her side of the story. He believed Ruby. He never trusted his wife. Her sister was more trustworthy to him.

Four years.

Sienna spent four years with this man, thinking that he would change. She went through every kind of abuse – be it emotional, physical, or financial.

No matter whether they were in public or private. She never got any respect from him.

For him, she was only a maid… a slave whose prime responsibility was to stay at home and fulfill her duties as a housewife.

She should know how to make him happy in bed even when he was least interested in intimacy.

He might be a millionaire, yet never had enough money for his wife.

When Sienna learned that she was pregnant, she was over the moon.

This child can save our marriage. This was the first thought that crossed her mind.

Well! She was wrong.

And now? Now… this…

"Once they die," Her husband's whisper reached her ears, "We will wait for a few months, darling, or police will be right up our asses," Tom said casually, "We need to play it smart, Ruby."

After that, there were muffled voices.

Sienna felt disgusted when she realized they were kissing.

With one hand, she clutched her daughter to her chest, "I'm … I'm so sorry, love…" She sobbed, "I should have walked out of this marriage a long time back. I dragged you into this."

In her heart, she knew that her daughter was no longer there. And soon…

Soon, Sienna would join her as well.

At least… at least we will be together…

She thought with a bitter smile and squeezed her eyes shut.

Now the pain was slowly vanishing.

She felt the sounds fading as her pain dissolved into nothingness.

This ends here.

She thought as the weight on her chest grew lighter.

And then – darkness took over as everything went black.
