Noah stepped out of Morgana's cabin with a satisfied smile on his face.
Getting a compliment from her meant his reputation was also improving in her eyes.
She had even called him talented. Though Noah himself didn't think he was talented. But it wasn't like that mattered to him.
Compliments were always good for Noah.
Just as he stepped out, he saw Damien coming from the opposite side.
The man looked slightly sweaty from training. His black hair was damp, with a few strands clinging to his forehead.
His hazel eyes were sharp and clear as always.
But he still looked slightly tired.
The moment those hazel eyes landed on Noah, a flicker of surprise appeared in them.
With a curious expression, Damien asked, "Noah? What are you doing here?... Did you just come out of Master's cabin? Was there something you wanted to discuss with her?"
Noah smiled lightly. "Oh, hey Damien. I came here to—"
He suddenly paused.
He was about to tell him the reason, but stopped midway.
