If the Guild discovered Soma Familia issues, Royman could notify Ganesha Familia directly.
There was no need to route it through Lin Dong—especially when Ryuu was still blacklisted and wanted.
"You're misunderstanding what I mean by 'Guild.'"
Lin Dong pointed to the ground. "I don't mean Royman. I mean Ouranos."
Ryuu's face didn't move. "And you expect me to believe that?"
Ouranos was a great being who had brought Falna to the Lower World and now used his authority to suppress the dungeon.
That he knew her wasn't strange.
That he had a private link with a Level 1 and handed him her information to deal with Soma Familia?
Absurd.
"If you want to lie, at least pick an excuse that works."
"Fine. Let's not be so serious."
Lin Dong shrugged.
"Where I got the info isn't important."
"What matters is why I called you here, right?"

Ryuu spun around, eyes locked on Lin Dong.
"…What did you say?"
"Jura is alive."
Lin Dong repeated it calmly.
"If you help me, I'll give you his location."
Ryuu went silent.
Jura was one of the prime culprits behind the destruction of the Astraea Familia.
Five years ago, Ryuu had personally destroyed Jura and the Rudra Familia base.
He should be dead.
But if there was even a one-in-ten-thousand chance…
Lin Dong dared to bargain with that name, which meant he had something real.
Even if it was only a fragment of truth, she had to confirm it.
"Don't rush," Lin Dong said. "Jura's current location is dangerous. Even Loki Familia could flip if they went in blind—let alone you alone."
He extended his hand.
"Cooperate with me. I need your strength. In exchange, I'll help you wipe out Jura and the remaining Evilus."
"Don't do dangerous things," Ryuu warned, frowning.
"I don't know what information you're holding, but high-level adventurers are far beyond what a Level 1 can handle. If I want, I can put you down in one hit."
"I'm not a normal Level 1."
"Then show me."
Ryuu stepped forward and vanished in a gust.
Lin Dong kept both hands in his pockets and shifted half a step back.
A wooden blade swept past his cheek, close enough to feel the wind. A pair of sky-blue eyes appeared inches away.
"Not bad," Ryuu said.

Why are you stealing my line?
Ryuu's eye twitched. She withdrew the blade.
"You can dodge me. You're not ordinary. Tell me your plan."

Lin Dong exhaled in relief.
Against a Level 4, even with three-body conditioning and Thunder Breathing, he was still stretched thin.
Luckily Ryuu didn't continue.
