"Enter" a smooth deep voice answers, The office was drowned in low amber light . Dark wooden shelves stretched from floor to ceiling, lined with untouched books and crystal bottles of whiskey. Rain slid down the massive windows overlooking the city, blurring the lights below into streaks of gold.
Behind a black marble desk sat Demian, one hand resting against his temple as the dim desk lamp cast sharp shadows across his face. The room smelled faintly of leather, smoke, and expensive cologne. Everything about the office felt quiet, controlled… dangerous
But As they entered the room, as soon as he saw Mira he stood up and smiled as Mira ran to him, why seeing this made me feel so miserable? Just standing there and staring like a pethatic loser, after that I took Mira back to her room we both slept..

-The Mansion
Selene woke up by the sharp pain in her arm, it was still not fully recovered, she looked at Mira who was still sleeping, she took her phone on the drawer next to her quietly to check the time, seeing it was midnight she knew she had to go back to sleep, but she couldn't. Instead she watched her phone, she had the security app in her phone so she just went there and looked into it to make sure everything is safe, while looking she saw a tall dark figure outside the window in the garden.. Her heart beat faster, it wasn't moving it was just standing there, she checked the garden's security camera in the app the same figure appeared there but another angle, she realized the figure was holding a sharp tool, it looked like Axe, I was sure it was just a bad dream because no one would believe if I told them what I saw, then the worst thing I could ever imagine was happening, she was angling to throw the Axe to the window, I tried to swallow but there was no saliva left my throat was dry and hurting, I didn't know how I did but I picked up Mira I ran out of the room as fast as I could, I was holding back tears my throat was was so sore, I started to run toward Mr Moretti's bedroom I knocked twice then I was about to knock again but he opened the door, he looked like he'd just woken up,
"what's wrong...?" said Demian in a deep calm tone
That made me feel even more overwhelmed tears build up in my eyes, just how pethatic am I? God..
"S-sorry I just saw s-somthing outside hic, I think there's something w-wrong in the garden sir "Selene said with shaky voice
Demian steped away and signaled for me to come in when I did he locks the door, he never looked at me but he took Mira in my hands and puts her on his king sized bed, the only light was the moonlight in his room, then he went to one of his drawer, then he took out a gun, silver, filled with bullets the he turned to face me, my body automatically reacted by stepping back..
"Selene don't be frightened now, I'll go take care of it, and you will stay here with Mira, and won't leave her even for a second, understood?" said Mr Moretti
"N-no don't..! She has an axe..! Sir you'll die! Please.. " said Selene, she thought, he won't believe her but she just said it either way .
"Listen, whoever it is, they won't be taken down that easily. And don't concern yourself with me. Go to bed, get some rest, and keep Mira with you for me. Is that clear?"
Selene nodded slowly stepping back to his bed he made sure she got next to mira, then he left and locked the door from outside
