Sorry for the long wait!!
I've been taking this time to fully develop the future of this story and what powers or what not will be in play, we will be diving deep in this chapter hold on as I give you the most information dump and I would suggest saving/bookmarking this chapter for later confusion. This is my own idea which I took inspiration from the anime JJK. But everything else is my own idea. Now that I have something unique for my story to make it stand out much more than just AU pokemon world mixed with manga and gates etc etc.

Zeth's eyes burned with a cold, calculated intensity as the blue mist of the Perfection Stone began to swirl violently around Cloyster. The cave walls groaned, ice crystals forming and shattering in a rapid cycle of thermal stress.
"Standard stabilization is for those who fear the plateau," Zeth hissed, his Aura flaring to its absolute limit. "We aren't just looking for a clean evolution. We're rewriting your ceiling."
Zeth didn't pull back as the energy spiked. Instead of acting as a dampener, he used his Aura like a piston, forcing the liquid-blue mana deeper into Cloyster's biological core. He could feel the resistance—the "Deep Purple" potential was a rigid cage, and the Stone was a battering ram.
SYSTEM WARNING: Biological integrity at 60%. SYSTEM WARNING: Potential threshold reached. Pushing for Tier-Jump... Aura Output: MAXIMUM.
"Break it!" Zeth roared.
The cave exploded in a flash of blinding sapphire light. The seawater was displaced by a massive shockwave, slamming Kael against the far wall. The air became so dense with pressurized water energy that it felt like being at the bottom of the Trench.
Slowly, the light condensed. The mist didn't dissipate; it froze into place, forming a jagged, crystalline chrysalis that slowly cracked open.
The creature that emerged was no longer the standard bivalve seen in the Kanto or Orange waters. Its outer shell had transitioned from a dull purple to a Matte Obsidian, reinforced with jagged, translucent spikes that shimmered with a metallic, golden luster. The central pearl, once a simple orb, now glowed with the pressurized heat of a deep-sea vent.
Pokémon: Cloyster (The Abyssal Juggernaut) Level: 51 Potential: Deep Gold (Tier-Jump Successful: Deep Purple -> Deep Gold) Abilities: Skill Link / Shell Armor (Dual-Awakening via Perfection Stone) Hidden Ability: Overcoat (Triple-Ability Mutation)
New Systematic Data:
Skill Link (Mastered): Multi-strike moves always hit 5 times with a 20% power bonus per hit.
Shell Armor: Critical hits are impossible; Physical Defense is treated as one tier higher.
Overcoat: Immune to weather damage and powder moves.
The Perfection Stone had forced "genetic memory" to surface, granting Cloyster access to TMs and moves that usually required years of specialized training.
Primary Moves: Icicle Spear, Spike Cannon, Razor Shell, Shell Smash.
Learned/TM Moves: Hydro Pump, Iron Defense, Toxic Spikes, Avalanche.
Genetic Legacy Move: Abyssal Drill (A high-speed rotation move that combines Ice and Steel energy to pierce through Protect/Detect)
Zeth slumped against the cave wall, his breath coming in ragged gasps. His hands were frostbitten, and his Aura reserves were completely drained, but a grim smile touched his lips.
"Deep Gold," he whispered.
The Cloyster floated toward him, its presence far more oppressive than before. It didn't just feel like a Pokémon; it felt like a siege engine. At Level 51, with Deep Gold potential and a triple-ability set, it possessed the raw stats to challenge Senior-tier Pokémon ten levels above it.
"Zeth..." Kael crawled forward, staring at the obsidian shell. "That's not a Cloyster. That's a disaster waiting to happen. If the League sees that... they won't just 'watch' you. They'll hunt you for the research data alone."
"Let them," Zeth said, his voice hardening as he looked at his new vanguard. "They wanted to see a variable? Now they have one they can't control."
[Current Objective:] Navel Island's peak houses the Navel Gym, led by Danny. However, the island's deep volcanic tunnels are rumored to contain a D-Rank Gate that is leaking thermal energy.
The sea cave was silent, save for the rhythmic hiss of steam rising from the cooling seawater. Zeth sat on a jagged obsidian ledge, the Perfection-Quality Water Stone's blue residue still faintly glowing on his fingertips. Across from him, Kael sat paralyzed, his gaze jumping between the terrifying new form of the Deep Gold Cloyster and the scorched, unbothered expression on Zeth's face.
"You're looking at me like I'm a monster, Kael," Zeth said, his voice cutting through the damp air like a blade. "But in the world we're entering—the world of B-Rank Gates and Elite 4 contenders—monsters are the baseline. If you want to survive, you stop playing Pokémon and start mastering the Domain."
Zeth stood up, his green Aura flaring just enough to illuminate the cave walls.
"The audience—the scouts, the League, the fans—they see a 'match.' They see turns and moves. They're blind. Let me explain the reality of a High-Tier combatant."
[The First Pillar: Battlefield Cores (Domains)]
"A Battlefield Core is more than just weather," Zeth began, gesturing to the air around him. "In the ancient scrolls and the secret manuals of the Elites, it's known as a Domain. It is the forced sovereignty of a trainer's will over the physical laws of the battlefield."
The Concept: "Think of it like an expansion of the soul. A standard trainer uses Sunny Day to boost fire. An Elite uses a Core to rewrite reality. When I manifest the Desolate Solar Eclipse, I'm not just making it hot; I'm creating a space where my fire-types are the only ones allowed to breathe. Or Shelgon with his ability to be able to withstand it with intense training."
Tier 1 (Completed Core): Standard for entry-level Elites of any trainer or the weakest of the Elite 4. One stable environment.
Tier 2-3 (Multi-Core): Late-stage Elite 4 members. They can switch domains to counter yours.
The Zenith (4-5 Cores): The territory of legends like Professor Oak. They don't just switch; they synergize multiple domains at once.
The Domain Clash: "When two masters meet, their Domains collide. If I'm stronger, I Overpower and delete their field. If we're equal, the field Splits. But the most dangerous is the Mixed Draw—a chaotic overlap where lava flows through a blizzard. It becomes a glitch in physics where only the most adaptable survive."
The Law of Type Usurpation: "But here is the most lethal rule: The Rule of Superior Affinity. If we both use the same type—say, we both bring Fire-based Cores—it doesn't matter how different our strategies are. If I am stronger, if my Aura is deeper and my Pokémon have a higher collective affinity for that element, I don't just clash with you. I take control. I can hijack your own Domain, turning your fire into my fuel until you're standing in a world you built that now wants to kill you."
Zeth's eyes grew distant, a shadow of genuine caution crossing his face. "But everything I just told you? It applies to humans. Legendaries are the exception."
The Sovereignty: "A human needs a team of six Pokémon working in perfect synchronization to maintain a high-level Domain. A Legendary Pokémon is the Domain. They bypass the need for help. An Intermediate or Strong Legendary manifests their power through raw existence."
The Hierarchy of Tiers: "Weak Legendaries might have one or two Cores. But the Originals—the Tier 1 Gods like Arceus, Dialga, or Palkia? They possess five, six, or even seven completed Cores simultaneously. Their domains aren't just 'weather'; they are fundamental laws of time, space, and creation."
The Impossible Clash: "Can you Overpower or Usurp a God's Domain? Technically, yes. But it's like trying to drink the entire ocean with a straw. It is insanely hard—bordering on impossible. To draw with a Tier 1 Legendary (specifically the creation trio), you would need a team of Master-level Pokémon and an Aura that can withstand the weight of the universe itself."
Zeth looked at his Deep Gold Cloyster, the obsidian shell shimmering with a metallic luster.
"Then, there are the Legacy Moves. You won't find these in a TM shop. They are a Genetic Epiphany—a perfected technique that breaks the rules of standard physics."
The Evolution of Power: "These moves are locked behind the ultimate biological barrier. A Pokémon cannot touch a Legacy Move unless they possess Deep Gold potential or higher. It is the reward for a bloodline that has breached the apex. It is the intersection of that high-tier potential and the Trainer's Aura."
"And finally," Zeth's gaze hardened, "there is the Level 60 Wall. Battles don't just give you levels anymore. Growth slows to a crawl. You stop getting stronger, and you start getting better. Mastery over your Core and the refinement of your Legacy Moves is the only way to breach the gap between a Senior and a Champion."
Zeth turned toward the pitch-black tunnels. "I'm not going in to 'level up.' I'm going in to refine a second Domain. Rhydon needs to become an anchor for the Subterranean Forge."
"Wait!" Kael called out. "If the world sees you using this 'Domain' logic at the Winner's Cup, they'll know you're not just a rookie."
Zeth paused, his silhouette framed by the glowing sulfur. "Let them watch. Cold, calculating, or kind—it doesn't matter what they call me. I am who I am. And by the time the finals are over, they won't be looking for a 'Prodigy.' They'll be looking at the man who rewrote the Orange League."
The heat inside the tunnels was a physical weight, pushing 200°C. Zeth released Rhydon (Lvl 52).
Deep in the magma chamber, they found the guardian: a Rhyperior (Lvl 58). It slammed its tail, and the air turned to lead. [Crushing Grave]—the Gravity Domain—descended.
"He's trying to pin us, Rhydon," Zeth's emerald Aura flared. "Mix it!"
Zeth ignited the Desolate Solar Eclipse. Because both Pokémon shared a high Earth/Rock affinity, the domains began to bleed into each other. Zeth pushed his Aura harder, utilizing the Rule of Superior Affinity. Slowly, the gravity wasn't just pressing down; it began to swirl with the heat. Zeth started to Usurp the Rhyperior's gravity, bending the "Crushing Grave" to support Rhydon's movements while making the guardian feel three times its own weight.
"It's over," Zeth said, his voice flat. "The field belongs to us now. Rhydon—Tectonic Collapse!"
Rhydon utilized the Mixed Draw environment, channeling the usurped gravity into its right fist. The strike distorted the space around it, slamming the Rhyperior into the cavern wall with such force that the stone liquefied.
Zeth approached the vein of Tectonic Ore. He channeled his Aura, acting as a bridge between the Solar Core's heat and the Earth-affinity of the Pokémon. The ore melted into a liquid-gold sludge, seeping into the pores of Rhydon's rocky skin.
Rhydon Status Update:
Equipment: Tectonic Plating (Permanent).
Defense Multiplier: +30% Physical Damage Reduction.
Trait: Gravity Anchor (Immune to forced movement and gravity-based speed debuffs).
Zeth emerged from the volcanic tunnels and ascended the vertical cliffs to the summit. At the peak stood Danny, looking like a mountain climber.
"Welcome to the peak," Danny said. "The trial has three stages: The Geyser Freeze, The Ice Sled, and the Showdown."
Zeth looked at Danny, his eyes cold and bloodshot from the pressure of the tunnels. "Skip the pleasantries. Start the trials. I have a schedule to keep."
