Working together with a shadow clone, Naruto launched his classic combo.
A shadow clone appeared on Naruto's left and threw an uppercut at Sasuke. Sasuke tilted his head, narrowly avoiding the blow.
Naruto's original body leapt up and attempted a flying kick—only to be swatted aside by Sasuke with a sharp backhand.
A bright red handprint appeared on Naruto's face.
Naruto immediately formed hand seals.
"Shadow Clone Technique!"
Dozens of shadow clones surrounded Sasuke, attempting to overwhelm him through sheer numbers.
But Sasuke dismantled their attacks one by one with precise counters.
"Too slow, Naruto. You're far too slow."
Sasuke regularly sparred with Nagi. Though Naruto's strikes were powerful, they were wide and direct—inefficient against someone as technical and refined as Sasuke.
After more than a dozen exchanges, Naruto was finally sent flying by a solid kick.
"Damn it… why are you so fast?!"
Seeing brute force wasn't enough, Naruto tapped into the Nine-Tails' chakra.
A crimson cloak burst forth—Version 1, One-Tail Form.
"Hmph. Better watch out, Sasuke!"
Naruto vanished in an instant, reappearing behind Sasuke, clawing forward with chakra-coated talons.
Without even turning around—
"Chidori Stream."
Lightning burst from Sasuke's body, forming a crackling defensive current. Naruto's chakra claws were repelled by the electric surge.
Naruto quickly retreated.
"I'm not done yet!"
The chakra cloak intensified.
Three tails manifested behind him.
Seeing this, Sasuke activated his Three-Tomoe Sharingan.
"Now it's getting interesting."
Naruto attacked again—this time determined to land a hit in close combat.
In the Three-Tails state, both his speed and strength surpassed his previous form.
He lunged forward, claws tearing through the air. Realizing evasion would be difficult at this speed, Sasuke finally drew the Sword of Shiranui Kūsanagi, blocking the strike with the blade.
Naruto followed with his other claw—
But Sasuke was faster. A sharp kick to Naruto's torso forced him back, widening the distance.
"My turn. Chidori."
Black lightning gathered in Sasuke's right hand as he dashed forward.
"Vermilion Rasengan!"
Using the Nine-Tails' chakra, Naruto formed a one-handed purple Rasengan and thrust it toward Sasuke.
Rasengan collided with Chidori—
BOOM!
The explosive impact forced both of them back over a dozen steps.
Kakashi narrowed his eye at the sight of the black Chidori and the violet Rasengan.
"So it's Nature Transformation… and not one of the standard Five Nature chakra changes."
Shiranui Kūra stood frozen in disbelief.
"They're… this strong?!"
When Team 7 had worked together against Kakashi and Nagi, she hadn't fully realized it.
But watching them fight each other—she finally understood.
Despite training under Lady Tsunade for two and a half years, the gap between them only seemed to be growing.
Naruto and Sasuke locked eyes.
They vanished simultaneously—
—and reappeared mid-air, colliding once more.
Naruto's Three-Tails form granted explosive speed and power. Sasuke relied on the Sharingan's dynamic vision, refined body control, and superior combat experience.
Claw against blade. Strike after strike.
Though Naruto was faster, Sasuke's agility and experience allowed him to exchange minor wounds for decisive blows.
Naruto was knocked back once again.
But he grinned confidently.
"Hmph. I didn't expect you to get this strong too, Sasuke. In that case… I'll go all out."
Through his Sharingan, Sasuke saw vast amounts of malevolent chakra surge from Naruto's body.
Naruto's form shifted dramatically—still humanoid, but engulfed in a dense, dark crimson cloak.
Naruto Uzumaki — Four-Tails Form.
Sasuke had heard Nagi explain the mechanics of Jinchūriki transformations before.
"So this is the Four-Tails state… The chakra output far surpasses the Three-Tails form."
"RAAAAGH! Sasuke—better be careful!"
"Hmph. Try me."
Naruto raised his left arm.
"Nine-Tails' Claw!"
His arm elongated unnaturally, stretching forward as a massive chakra claw lashed toward Sasuke.
Even prepared, Sasuke barely evaded thanks to the Sharingan's predictive vision.
Naruto followed with a right claw—then another—relentless and accelerating.
Sasuke was forced into constant evasive maneuvers.
Finally—
Naruto seized Sasuke's ankle and slammed him into the ground.
BOOM!
Sasuke crashed into the earth.
Naruto lunged in to finish the attack—
But the Sasuke he struck suddenly transformed into black lightning.
The current surged through Naruto's arms and wrapped around his body.
Crackle—crackle—
The black lightning continuously electrocuted him.
The damage wasn't severe—but his mobility was heavily restricted.
Sasuke stepped out from another direction.
"So even your defense is this strong in this state…"
He raised the Sword of Shiranui Kūsanagi.
"Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi."
Black flames instantly ignited along the blade.
[Shisui Uchiha: That's Itachi's black flames.]
[FugaShiranui Kū Uchiha: Has Sasuke awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan?]
[MEidara Uchiha: You, the clan head who let your clan be wiped out—are you blind? Can't you see he's still using the Three-Tomoe Sharingan? That black flame is likely similar to his black lightning—Yin Release Nature Transformation taught by Nagi.]
[FugaShiranui Kū Uchiha: ...]
I was simply momentarily excited when I saw what looked like Amaterasu.
[Shisui Uchiha: The real question is whether Sasuke's Blaze Release can compare to true Amaterasu.]
[Shiranui Nagi: It would be more accurate to say it's nearly indistinguishable from Kagutsuchi. Ultimately, both are techniques derived from Sasuke and the Uchiha Clan's unique Yin Release chakra nature transformation.]
