The steel behemoths finally revealed themselves in full.
Three massive aerial carriers and several warships loomed over the sea.
On the decks, Sky Ninja appeared one after another.
Wearing flight devices, they launched into the air via electromagnetic catapults and flew straight toward KonohagaShiranui Kūre (Hidden Leaf Village).
[Tsunade: So they've finally come… the Sky Ninja.]
[Jiraiya: Haa… and I'm not even in the village this time. Let's hope things don't get ugly.]
[Hiruzen Sarutobi: Have faith in Nagi and the others.]

Four small black pillars of crackling current formed in his palm—
Then vanished at blinding speed.
They reappeared around the Sky Ninja formation.
The pillars expanded instantly, black currents connecting them into a massive quadrilateral cage suspended mid-air.
The Sky Ninja were stunned.
Before they could react—
They were violently pulled toward the cage walls.
"What is this?!"
"The pull is too strong!"
"It's magnetism!"
"I can't control my flight—!"
No matter how they increased the output of their flight devices, it was useless.
One by one, they slammed into the cage.
Black lightning surged across the barrier, binding and electrocuting them.
Nagi lowered his hand.
The cage descended slowly to the ground.
Konoha shinobi rushed forward and restrained the captured Sky Ninja.
Tsunade arrived on the rooftop moments later.
"They're…?"
"Yes. Sky Ninja. There should be more. I'll leave the interrogation to you."
Nagi vanished in a Body Flicker.
Tsunade ordered ANBU to transfer the prisoners to Ibiki Morino for interrogation.
Later
Amaru still came to KonohagaShiranui Kūre in search of her teacher.
While searching for Shinno, she encountered Naruto and Shiranui Kūra—then suddenly collapsed.
The two quickly rushed her to Konoha Hospital.
Hospital Room
Karin's mother, Hanare (localized name previously used as Hualing in this narrative continuity), was treating her.
Mid-treatment, her expression shifted.
"This child's chakra…"
Konoha Interrogation Chamber
"AAAH—!"
"Please—stop!"
Under Ibiki's specialized interrogation methods, the Sky Ninja quickly broke.
He compiled their testimony into a report and delivered it to Tsunade.
Reading it, Tsunade frowned.
"They've already landed along the coastal waters of the Land of Fire.
And they possess warships and aerial carriers… large-scale military weapons. Unfortunately, none of the captives know who their true leader is."
Shizune entered with another report.
"Lady Tsunade. This just came from Hanare."
Tsunade read it, her brow tightening further.
"The girl Naruto and Shiranui Kūra rescued… carries traces of a sinister chakra. Even darker than the Nine-Tails' chakra."
(The Zero-Tails is formed from the darkness within human hearts.)
"And it surfaced during the Sky Ninja attack. Coincidence… or not?"
Tsunade immediately handed the interrogation report to an ANBU operative.
"Deliver this to Nagi."
She and Shizune then headed to Konoha Hospital.
Hospital Room
Amaru had awakened.
"Sensei! Shinno-sensei!"
After realizing she was in an unfamiliar place, she turned to Naruto.
"You're…?"
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki. That Shinno you mentioned—is he that uncle-looking guy?"
Amaru grabbed Naruto by the collar.
"You've seen Shinno-sensei?! Where is he?! We have to find him—people in my village need him!"
Before Naruto could answer—
Tsunade entered.
"If that's the case, tell us everything you know. I am the Hokage of KonohagaShiranui Kūre—Tsunade."
Amaru nodded and explained:
The previous night, her village had been attacked by unknown forces. Numerous villagers were injured. She had come to notify her teacher, Shinno, seeking medical assistance.
Moments later, a nurse informed Tsunade that a man named Shinno had arrived to visit.
Tsunade allowed him in.
Shinno entered the room.
Amaru rushed to him, tearfully recounting the attack.
Shinno comforted her and promised to return to the village to provide aid.
Nearby, Hanare narrowed her eyes at him—but quickly concealed her suspicion.
Tsunade suggested that Amaru rest for the night due to her condition. They would depart the next day.
After leaving the room, Tsunade dismissed Naruto.
Hanare then spoke quietly:
"Lady Tsunade… I sensed the same sinister chakra inside Shinno that Amaru carries. And in far greater quantity.
Moreover… his personal chakra is extremely powerful."
Tsunade nodded gravely.
"So he's not here with good intentions. What exactly are you planning, Shinno?"
Turning to Shiranui Kūra, she instructed:
"Shiranui Kūra. Tomorrow you, Naruto, Hinata, and Shikamaru will accompany them as support.
Secretly, I will have Kakashi and ANBU shadow your team.
Something about Shinno's timing feels wrong.
Relay my concerns to Shikamaru. You two must investigate thoroughly."
"Yes, ma'am."
Naruto blinked.
"…What about me?"
Shiranui Kūra sighed.
"If we told you, it'd be the same as telling him."

Tsunade dispatched Naruto's team to support Amaru's village.
Shinno showed no suspicion—confident in the perfection of his disguise.
Meanwhile — The Coastline
Nagi, Sasuke, Yamanaka Fū, and several members of Root (Ne) lay hidden near the shore.
From their vantage point, the enormous aerial carriers and warships were clearly visible.
Nagi spoke calmly.
"The exterior damage doesn't matter. What's important are the engines and core components.
Capture the Sky Ninja alive if possible.
If not—eliminate them.
Move out."
"Yes, sir."
