"Good."
Having received Leon's assurance, Iskandar finally relaxed.
Grinning, he joked,
"I'm about to pay a very heavy price for this. Don't stab me in the back afterward."
"You'd better not do the same."
Leon shot back with a smile.
The two comrades exchanged a knowing look before returning their attention to the battlefield.
Then—
Iskandar urged his chariot into the sky above his army.
Raising his sword high, he roared,
"My army... trample everything before you!"
"OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!!" ×N
The response of the Army of the King thundered across the battlefield.
At once, every soldier released the ropes they had been using to restrain the Sea Demon and charged forward through the corrupted mire.
The elite among them wielded their precious Noble Phantasms, carving a path toward the Giant Sea Demon's true body for their comrades.
Normally, each Noble Phantasm possessed overwhelming destructive power.
Yet before a Sea Demon towering over two thousand meters tall—and the endless sea of corruption surrounding it—they seemed almost insignificant.
But even the smallest spark could start a wildfire.
Working together with perfect coordination, the army of Servants rapidly fought its way to the monster itself.
While fending off the colossal tentacles lashing out from every direction, they searched for the perfect opportunity to strike.
Both Iskandar and Leon fought at the front.
As the two strongest combatants, they focused on destroying the seemingly endless waves of tentacles.
Well...
Iskandar was only "one of" the main forces.
In terms of individual combat ability, there were even soldiers within his army who surpassed him.
Leon, on the other hand, carried the battle almost single-handedly.
He fired the basic released form of Excalibur – Sword of Promised Victory as casually as ordinary sword strikes.
Golden beams erased countless tentacles from existence.
But against the Sea Demon's unimaginably massive body...
It was little more than a drop in the ocean.
Only the Round Table Judgment would be enough.
...
At the Sea Demon's feet—
"I-It's... enormous..."
Waver Velvet stared upward in disbelief.
Looking at the monstrous silhouette that blotted out the sky, even Iskandar began to sweat.
Turning awkwardly toward Leon, he admitted,
"Saber... there's been a change of plans."
"Its body is too soft."
"I'll need your help."
"Heh."
"Then you owe me one Command Seal."
Immediately understanding Iskandar's intention, Leon raised his free hand and fired another beam from Excalibur, instantly vaporizing dozens of tentacles rushing toward them.
At the same time, he couldn't resist teasing him.
"One Command Seal it is."
"I'm counting on you!"
Iskandar replied without the slightest hesitation.
He had completely taken Leon's joke at face value.
The two nodded to one another.
"ROOOAAARRRR!!"
Iskandar raised his sword toward the heavens and let out an earth-shaking battle cry.
Instantly, every soldier of the Army of the King moved.
The scene resembled the overwhelming barrage of the Gate of Babylon.
Only this time, it was Iskandar's army recreating that magnificent spectacle.
"Woooo..."
The Giant Sea Demon let out a pained groan.
Its mountain-like body slowly began tipping toward the side where Leon and Iskandar stood.
"It's coming, Saber!"
Iskandar roared.
"You don't have to tell me—I can see it!"
Leon raised his left hand.
Aeon Saga once again shone with that sacred rainbow radiance—the light of miracles.
"Engrave the True Name!"
"This is the oath that binds together a world on the brink of twilight..."
"...and Heroic Spirits who fight in defiance of death!"
"Manifest yourself!"
"Lord Asgard!"
As Leon completed the invocation—
The eternal divine palace descended once more.
The immaculate holy realm of Asgard unfolded across the battlefield.
The collapsing Giant Sea Demon was instantly caught by the vastly larger divine domain, its immense body lifted at an angle.
Then—
Just as Leon had expected—
An overwhelming force beyond anything his current Servant body could possibly withstand crashed down upon him.
The instant the Noble Phantasm fully manifested—
The arm supporting it burst open, blood spraying into the air.
His knees slammed into the earth like iron stakes, sinking deep into the ground beneath the unbearable weight.
"ISKANDAR!!!"
For the first time since entering this world, Leon roared at the top of his lungs.
Fresh blood spilled from between his clenched teeth.
"OOOOOH!!!"
Iskandar looked no better.
Tilting his head against the crushing pressure, he seized the fleeting moment created by Leon's Noble Phantasm.
He temporarily dismissed the soldiers supporting the opposite side, expending an enormous amount of mana—
Then immediately resummoned them beneath the divine realm of Lord Asgard.
Tens of thousands of Heroic Spirits pushed upward together.
Every one of them exerted their full strength.
"SABER!!!"
Now it was Iskandar urging him onward.
Leon had no breath left to answer.
One hand maintained the fully deployed Aeon Saga.
The other tightened around Excalibur.
Without hesitation—
He initiated the Round Table Judgment.
"Release the Thirteen Seals."
"Let the Round Table Judgment commence!"
