Third-Person POV
Yuta was a very timid and orphan boy who grew up lonely. It wasn't always like this. In fact, in childhood he was much brighter, and he was always happy to play with Rika, his friend. The turning point came when Rika had an accident and died. Ever since, due to Rika (his curse spirit) haunting much of his early life, Yuta has been unable to connect with other people and has lost all confidence in himself.
This makes it difficult for Yuta to interact with others, as they often scare him without meaning to, or he's just too shy to speak to them. Even so, Yuta genuinely cared about other people and decided to isolate himself from them, even if it meant remaining alone.
The pushing point came when the bullies at Yuta's previous schools started to push him too hard for his timid personality, and when they crossed the line, Rika became aggrieved to the point Yuta thought she would kill them all, but thankfully it didn't happen, but they all have severe injuries.
But the things that happened after that can only be considered 'out of fantasy'; Yuta never in a million years thought that there was a hidden side of the world. And the silver-haired boy...Sensai...young master, he didn't know how to address Gojo, but when he said that Yuta would be transferred to a different school, which would teach him to unravel the mystery behind Rika and how to control her, he agreed without thinking.
Because of that, currently he was looking at the door, which will lead him to his new life. He was nervous, extremely so. But he was also happy, as this is a second chance, and he hoped he wouldn't get bullied here.
"Come on." From inside, Gojo's voice head denotes that he can enter the classroom. Yuta took a couple of deep breaths to calm his racing heart.
'Here goes my everything,' he thought to himself as he opened the sliding door and entered the classroom.
And he walked towards the board. He noticed that the expressions of the students were tense, and one of them was literally a panda, though he didn't know the reason. "My name is..."
Yuta couldn't even properly introduce himself as he was slammed to board by a girl with green hair, carrying a Naginata, and the panda and another boy surrounded him.
"Who the fuck are you?" the green-haired girl said.
---
Have you seen the final boss entry in real life? Boy, I just witnessed it right in front of my eyes. Literally got my hair to stand up and started clapping, which is a figure of speech, for those who are too serious to take humor.
The presence. The Might. The ruthlessness of the Queen of Curses. And of course, the walk. I legit feel the area around Yuta blackened from the sheer curse energy leaking from Rika. And each step he took made it look like he was marking his domain, but all that presence vanished the moment Maki planted Yuta's face to the board. She is such a party pooper; not just her, Panda and Inumaki are also the same.
"Come on, guys, leave the poor boy alone," I said with a sigh. "You are hurting him."
"But he is bearing a powerful curse," Maki said.
"Salmon." Inumaki nodded. So did Panda.
"Now, now," Gojo clapped his hands to get our attention and pointed to Yuta. "Does he look harmful to any of you? He looks like he is fighting cancer while being the father of three."
Which earned me a chuckle from myself because he does look like that; if one looked at him at face value without minding the huge curse following him around, then he is a young man with disheveled black hair and dark blue eyes. As a first-year, Yuta's body language made it obvious that he was under a lot of stress. His posture was very unconfident, and he still has dark circles under his eyelids from a lack of sleep.
"Allow him to introduce himself," Gojo said with the same goofy smile. This motherfucker can stop the whole action that played in front of my eyes but didn't, not like I can complain.
Hearing Gojo, Maki, Panda, and Inumaki let out a sigh. "Okay." Then looked at Yuta. "Sorry about that." They all convey their apologies, think that one word, and get back to their seats.
Maki nods at me. "You know he wasn't a threat?" It was more of a question as to why I didn't get up from the seat a bit instead and just looked at how things played out.
"It was Gojo who introduced him, so..." I just shrugged as I didn't continue.
Yuta at the front got his bearings back, but he lost the initial cool, and his timid body language once again surfaced, and he fidgeted with his fingers. "My name is Yuta Okkotsu. Hope we can get along well." Though his voice itself lacked the conviction.
