"Silver Rank 1?" a burly man with a tiger mask muttered, digging a finger into his ear. "Did I hear it wrong or the announcer misspeak? Surely he meant Gold Rank 1, right?"
"It has to be a mistake," another spectator scoffed. "Skullcrusher is a Gold Rank 1 fighter. An early-stage Domain Master! A Silver Rank 1 is just a first-level Core Formation cultivator. The arena rules don't match lower ranks against higher ranks unless the weaker one specifically requests a cross-rank death match!"
"Who would be insane enough to request that?"
Under the bewildered, questioning gazes of the crowd, a dark-robed youth wearing a demonic Asura mask leaped gracefully from the middle rows of the stands.
