Chapter 1 - Unnamed

Ch1

đź“– The Lost Watch

1.Rahul was returning home from school as usual. The soft evening sunlight covered the quiet road, and a cool breeze made the walk pleasant. While walking slowly and thinking about his day, something shiny near the roadside caught his attention.

He stopped and bent down to see what it was. It was an old wristwatch lying in the dust. Rahul picked it up carefully. The watch looked beautiful, with a golden frame and uniquely designed hands. However, it was not working. The glass was slightly scratched, and it seemed as if no one had used it for many years.

2.Rahul looked around, hoping to find the owner, but the road was empty. After waiting for a while, he decided to take the watch home, thinking he might return it if someone asked for it.

At home, Rahul cleaned the watch gently and placed it on his study table. Even though it was old, something about the watch felt special to him. That night, after finishing his homework, he looked at it once more before going to sleep. The watch was still silent and motionless.

Late at night, Rahul suddenly woke up to a strange sound.

Tick… tick… tick…

Half asleep, he looked around his room and realized the sound was coming from the watch. To his surprise, the watch had started working on its own. The hands were moving slowly, and the ticking sound filled the quiet room.

3.Rahul felt both amazed and a little frightened. He picked up the watch and stared at it. It almost felt alive, as if it carried memories from another time.

The next morning, Rahul showed the watch to his grandfather. The moment his grandfather saw it, his expression changed. His eyes filled with emotion, and his hands trembled slightly.

"This watch… belongs to me," his grandfather said softly.

He explained that the watch had been given to him by his father many years ago. It was one of his most precious possessions, but it had been lost during a journey long ago. Despite searching everywhere, he had never found it again.

4.Holding the watch again after so many years brought back countless memories for him — memories of family, love, and childhood days long gone.

Rahul listened quietly and realized that the watch had somehow found its way back home after all those years.

5.From that day on, Rahul understood something important — some things are more than objects. They carry emotions, memories, and pieces of time itself.

And sometimes, no matter how long they remain lost, they always return to the people they truly belong to.

đź’–: First Love

Arnav used to see a girl every day on his way to college. Her name was Meghla.

They never talked, but they smiled at each other.

One rainy day, Meghla was standing without an umbrella. Arnav shared his umbrella with her.

That day, their conversation began.

Slowly, their friendship turned into love.

Arnav realized that true love sometimes comes into life unexpectedly.

đź‘» The Haunted House

One dark evening, Rahul and his friends were returning home after playing football in the village field. The sky was cloudy, and the wind was blowing strongly. On their way, they passed an old abandoned house at the edge of the village.

Everyone in the village believed that the house was haunted. People said a family once lived there, but after a mysterious incident many years ago, the house was left empty. No one dared to enter it after sunset.

Rahul's friends challenged each other to go inside the house. Though they were scared, curiosity pushed them forward. Slowly, they opened the broken wooden gate and stepped into the yard.

The house looked frightening. The windows were broken, the walls were covered with dust, and dry leaves made cracking sounds under their feet. Suddenly, the main door creaked open on its own.

A cold wind passed through them. Rahul felt someone watching them from the darkness.

Then they heard footsteps from upstairs.

Thump… Thump… Thump…

Their hearts started beating fast. One of Rahul's friends whispered that they should leave immediately. But before they could move, a white shadow appeared at the top of the stairs.

The shadow slowly moved toward them. Its face was unclear, and its long figure floated above the ground. The lights of their phones suddenly turned off.

Terrified, Rahul shouted, and all of them ran out of the house as fast as they could. Behind them, they heard a strange laughter echoing through the empty building.

When they finally stopped running, they realized they were far away from the haunted house. None of them spoke a word that night.

From that day on, Rahul and his friends never went near that house again. Even today, villagers say that on quiet nights, strange sounds can still be heard from inside the haunted house.
