Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Eina Tulle

"Now that the Familia registration is complete, the next step is individual adventurer registration."

The half-elf girl, who had been quietly waiting to the side, spoke with a gentle smile.

"According to Guild policy, each newly registered adventurer is assigned a personal advisor. If you don't mind, I'd like to serve as the advisor for the two of you. Would that be alright?"

She extended her hand and introduced herself:

"My name is Eina Tulle."

Eina's warmth, attentiveness, and professional demeanor immediately left a good impression on Faen.

He took her hand with a smile.

"Then we'll be in your care, Miss Eina."

Under Eina's guidance, they were led into a quiet private consultation room.

Adventurer registration itself was straightforward—name, gender, race, age, and other basic information.

When it was Robin's turn, she removed her hood, revealing a beauty so striking it seemed to dim the flowers in comparison.

Even someone as experienced as Eina froze for a brief moment, a flicker of astonishment crossing her eyes.

However, she quickly regained her composure and continued the formalities.

Robin registered her race as Human.

Strictly speaking, she belonged to the "Halo" race in her original world, but after being summoned here, the distinctive halo above her head had vanished. By all observable traits, this world recognized her as human.

Once the paperwork was complete, Eina began explaining in meticulous detail everything new adventurers needed to know—from the structure of the Dungeon to the habits and danger levels of monsters in the Upper Floors.

"…In short, until you have sufficient information and preparation, you must never enter the Dungeon recklessly. Remember—what adventurers fear most is 'adventuring.'"

The statement sounded contradictory, but her meaning was clear: in a place like the Dungeon, rash, gamble-like risk-taking only led to death. If one wished to survive long-term, one had to be cautious and steady—never reckless.

"If you encounter any trouble afterward, please come to the Guild and find me."

Her genuine sense of responsibility and care quickly won Furina and Robin's approval.

---

With registration complete, the next issue to solve was housing.

When Eina learned that they intended to rent in the Seventh District, she enthusiastically offered to introduce them to a landlord she knew.

"With a referral, at least you won't have to worry about being overcharged just because you're newcomers."

Thanks to her help, they soon rented a modest two-story building tucked away on a quiet street corner.

It was a bit old, but thoroughly cleaned and fully furnished—more than sufficient for the three of them.

Faen offered to treat Eina to a meal in gratitude, but she declined with a smile.

"This is simply part of my job."

Before leaving, she gave one final, serious reminder:

"Mr. Faen, Miss Robin, please promise me—before your first trip into the Dungeon, you must come see me. I'll give you basic instruction and the latest Dungeon updates."

"We promise," Faen replied earnestly.

Watching Eina's retreating figure, Robin couldn't help but murmur,

"She's a kind and responsible advisor."

"Mhm. Eina's a good person," Furina agreed firmly. She held great fondness for the half-elf who had respectfully addressed her as "Lady Focalors" from beginning to end.

...

That night, Focalors Familia finally had their first true home in Orario.

The next morning, sunlight filtered through slightly dusty windows, scattering patches of gold across the wooden floor.

After a simple breakfast, the scent of bread still lingered in the air.

"We need to buy equipment," Faen said calmly, setting down his cup.

Robin nodded. There was no fear in her lake-green eyes, only focus.

Furina, meanwhile, nibbled on cake at the side, offering muffled words of encouragement.

---

The Hephaestus Familia was the most renowned smithing Familia in Orario—and arguably the entire world. Their shops were scattered throughout the city.

Faen chose a branch located in the Eighth District.

The storefront was modest, clearly aimed at lower-level adventurers with limited funds.

As they pushed open the door, a distinct scent of metal, oil, and coolant greeted them.

The shop was small. Weapons and armor lined the walls—longswords, daggers, battle-axes, leather armor, chainmail. Most were plain in craftsmanship, but each exuded practical lethality.

With limited savings, Faen chose pragmatically.

For himself, he selected a single-handed longsword of balanced weight and length, along with a lightweight leather armor set that allowed freedom of movement.

When it came to Robin's equipment, however, his standards were entirely different.

In the end, he purchased a white ash staff inlaid at its tip with a teal magic stone.

It wasn't top-tier, but among similar items, it was excellent—smooth in construction and with good magic conductivity.

Its price nearly exceeded the total cost of Faen's entire equipment set.

"Proper preparation ensures proper response."

Faen looked at the bill without the slightest hesitation.

...

After purchasing their gear, they headed straight to the Guild.

When Eina saw them standing fully equipped before her, her face lit up with genuine relief.

"I'm so glad you didn't ignore my advice."

She led them back into the now-familiar consultation room.

"Many reckless newcomers treat the Dungeon like a game. They rush in without proper equipment. Adventurers like you, who make me feel at ease, are far too rare."

Still smiling, she spread out a detailed map and began final instructions.

"…Floors 1 to 5 are primarily populated by Goblins and Dungeon Lizards. Their attack patterns are simple. But starting from Floor 6, you'll encounter your first real trial—War Shadows. They're fast, specialize in ambushes, and are widely known as 'newbie killers'…"

Eina explained everything with utmost seriousness, listing every known danger in the Upper Floors.

Faen listened quietly, committing the valuable intelligence to memory.

He appreciated her goodwill.

But in his heart, he knew better than anyone—

What awaited them would not merely be the standardized dangers recorded in Guild documents.

The skill called [The Abyss That Gazes Back] ensured that he and his Familia would walk a path of exploration unlike any other.
