At this point two weeks was up, and he had been concentrating on both cultivating and on his mission, he had happened to chance upon a group of teenagers, same age as he was , they consisted of 4 people, two boys and two girls, but they weren't slaves.
Odin also had never came out since he gave him his next task which was getting his speed flow up, he had been running for 5 hours daily for the past five days, and his speed was improving a whole lot .
The group he chanced upon were warriors in training, as they were sent on the holy forest to retrieve a certain item, he had been dragged into the group by a girl called Sarah, she had spotted him yesterday as he was finishing his task and dragged him to her group.
He had learnt their names, Jordan , Leah, vlok and Sarah making them the group of 4,
Why is he here , vlok asked as he seemed to be the leader of the group with his intimidating aura , on a mission mugan answered, to retrieve the seeker's eye I guess, vlok said scoffing.
Oh!, I guess you are among the slaves the emperor released to retrieve the item, Leah said , as mugan was reminded of his lowly birth once again, why did you bring him here Sarah?, Jordan asked flipping his long blonde hair to the side, to join our group she said smiling.
His not a warrior in training so I don't understand why his here, vlok said looking irritated, he can help us since we are entering the inner boarders now, Sarah said confidently, help?, Leah scoffed looking mugan up and down, his frail looking stature telling them otherwise.
Although mugan had been training according to the cosmic scroll , and has improved alot , his physique hasn't really changed much, which would give the impression he was a weakling at first glance.
You guys know I have always been a good judge of character, so you people should trust me on this?, his weak yes but not that weak he can't contribute besides , the inner boarders of the holy land are dangerous, an additional help to the group is necessary, Sarah said .
This sounded more like , he was to be the sacrificial lamb to mugan, are the inner boarders that dangerous? mugan asked while retrieving his map from his pocket.
The holy Forrest is the land of treasures and beasts both magical and demonic species, Sarah explained, we are here to retrieve an item but rest assured not the seeker's eye, as our task is different,we need help as one can't survive alone within the boarders, only high ranked beasts reside with in the inner boarders hence the reason why we want you to join us Sarah explained.
Mugan took a good look at her, she looked not less than 5 ft 5, with long brown hair and blue eyes, a beauty indeed , but he knew her strength couldn't be calculated by her lean physique, since they had different missions, he didn't see the reason why he couldn't join them, he still needed to train to a certain extent before he would start fighting independently, even Odin has been silent no matter how much he called him out for a few days now.
You can join us vlok finally said, but we expect you to be more of a help than a burden he said looking directly at mugan, we move so we can get into the boarders before night fall vlok said as he joined the group as they journeyed into the inner boarders.
He could sense the change in energy and spirit flow the minute they stepped into the boarder, there were less tress and more ruins, as it looked more of an abandoned town, with lots of little streams, he could see as others were also moving in groups, at this point everyone was tense and alert, he hadn't trained his perception flow yet, so he couldn't pinpoint at anything yet.
Few minutes into their walk , a loud bang was heard and a group of people was seen running out of a ruin, a giant snake green snake with six heads was seen running after them, shit a level 5 beast !, Leah said which had every one on their toes at once.
Some of the groups ran while some stayed, looking at the incoming beast as it's hissing filled their eyes, should we fight or run, Jordan asked vlok as he was the leader of the group, we have to get past it to pass that path , so we have to fight it , he said , everyone form a circle he said , which they all did .
Leah channel your void control, Sarah handle it with beast technique, Jordan you're in charge of the protection formation, I will strike, mugan I don't know your techniques so support the rest however you can , vlox said as everyone looked at the incoming snake as it ferociously hissed striking the groups before them.
Mugan was perplexed, he didn't have any current skill or technique all he had was strength and speed, furthering his determination of ridding himself of being a weakling , he saw one of the massive snake's head chop of it's victims head, using it's sharp tail to cut others into two, the group looked like more of slaves to warriors.
Using it's body to crush their bodies as it advanced towards them, avoid it's tail vlok shouted to the rest of us , the snake's scale looked more of that of a dragon clearly showing it's hardened scale, taking our positions vlox was the first one to strike
DREAM DAZE , vlox shouted as a large hammer matterized into his hands, he leaped high into the air, strking down the hammer into the one of the snake's head, watching it in DAZE for a moment, he took the opportunity to to pull out his sword as he slashed off cleanly one of the snake's head.
But we were shocked as the next minute the snake's head regenerated back and it hissed with more ferocity, seemingly pissed, seeing these the rest of the groups behind us, ran off, the snake swung it's tail forward, as it attacked Jordan's protection formation, it's tail made with sharp spikes , crashed down with a loud bang .
Sarah now!, vlox shouted , BEAST TECHNIQUE, FOX SMITHERING CLAW, I watched Sarah transform into a huge fox, as her sharp claw sliced off two of the snake's head in an instant, next came Leah , VOID CONTROL ACTIVATE, Leah shouted as energy trummed from her hands forming portals as she controlled the snake's body sending it crashing into one of the ruins.
