Chapter 84 - A Man Knows What to Do and What Not to Do

Shiraishi Shin leaped to a height of 150 meters.

In his strongest flame form, he shouldn't have been limited to just 150 meters; even exceeding 300 meters would have been more than enough. But he was confident that his opponent definitely couldn't jump 150 meters.

And indeed, Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai's maximum jump height was only 121 meters. After a glance, he met the attack head-first, feet-up.

"Hooaaah!!"

Shiraishi Shin's yellow compound eyes glowed with golden light as he kicked down fiercely. The two exchanged kicks in the air a hundred meters high, with blue flames and purple energy spreading outwards.

Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai exploded on the spot after holding on for one second.

Shiraishi Shin retracted the residual energy from his feet before landing, otherwise, that kick would have been no less than a nuclear explosion if it hit the ground.

"No summoner?"

Shiraishi Shin turned around, somewhat puzzled. If it were a Kamen Rider transformed by a normal person, the Henshin would be released after the rider armor was destroyed, but there was no summoner now.

Could it be like Kamen Rider Ginga in Zi-O, just a pure energy body?

Even now, Shiraishi Shin still didn't know who this Kamen Rider was, but it didn't matter anymore; he was a defeated opponent anyway.

He turned to look at Shotaro Hidari and Tanzaburo Tojima, and with a flash, instantly closed the distance between them, appearing before the two.

He asked, "Are you alright?"

Tanzaburo Tojima said, "I'm fine, his injuries seem a bit serious."

Shotaro Hidari shook his head and said, "I'm fine too, I just need some rest. I'm a tough guy, a small injury like this and I'll be bouncing around tomorrow, no need to worry. But you, it was so dangerous just now, yet you still rushed out, it really wasn't necessary."

Shotaro Hidari looked at the muscular tough guy before him with new respect and admiration.

To be able to rush out in that situation and punch that Kamen Rider, and then carry him away—such a man was also a tough guy, no less than himself.

Tanzaburo Tojima rubbed the back of his head and smiled bitterly.

"I really couldn't stand it anymore, so I just wanted to contribute my small part, but my abilities are limited."

After listening to their conversation, Shiraishi Shin understood.

So Tanzaburo Tojima was so brave, rushing out at Shotaro Hidari's critical moment to punch the mysterious Rider, then carrying him and running.

Although if he hadn't saved them in the end, both would have perished there, which might seem foolish to some who value their lives, in Shiraishi Shin's view, this spirit indeed made him admire them.

After all, a man knows what to do and what not to do.

"Thank you, my name is Shotaro Hidari, I'm a detective. If you ever need anything, you can contact me at this place; my phone number is also on it. From today on, you're my friend."

Shotaro Hidari smiled at Tanzaburo Tojima.

Unlike Kisaragi Gentaro, he wasn't someone who made friends easily, but Tanzaburo Tojima's act of saving him just now touched his heart.

"Okay, my name is Tanzaburo Tojima. I've dreamed of becoming a Kamen Rider since I was a child. Although I couldn't become one, it doesn't matter, I'll do what I can."

Tanzaburo Tojima said earnestly, clenching his fist, which earned Shotaro Hidari's respect.

"Shiraishi Shin, why do you keep your Rider form? Aren't you going to release your Henshin?"

Noticing Shiraishi Shin, who was still in his Kamen Rider Eternal form, Shotaro Hidari asked in confusion.

Although there wasn't really a limit to how many times one could Henshin into a Kamen Rider, usually after defeating a Monster, one would release the Henshin.

Shiraishi Shin said, "I just rushed back from a rural town. The school organized a Summer Camp for us students, and I still need to go back."

"Huh? Rural Summer Camp! How did you get here in one minute then?"

Tanzaburo Tojima was instantly dumbfounded.

Forget a rural area, even in the city, it would be impossible to arrive in one minute.

Shiraishi Shin took out a silver gaia memory with the letter "Z" on it and said, "That's naturally instantaneous movement. This is a Space Memory, it allows me to instantly move to any place I've seen. By thinking of that place in my mind, I can teleport there."

"Space Memory? May I ask what's going on with your gaia memories just now? Why do you also have Cyclone, Joker, and other gaia memories?"

Shotaro Hidari asked with a mind full of questions.

He looked at the gaia memories now inserted into the jacket on Eternal's body and couldn't understand why gaia memories like his were among them, yet it was strange because these weren't the gaia memories he used.

Shiraishi Shin explained, "These gaia memories on me are all second-generation, or T2 gaia Memories for short, while yours are first-generation t1 gaia memories."

"It's like the memory in RAM sticks; yours is 8GB, mine is 16GB. In terms of performance, they naturally far surpass your t1 gaia memories."

"T2 gaia Memories!"

After hearing Shiraishi Shin's explanation, Shotaro Hidari looked at them with envy.

They were upgraded versions of the gaia memories in his hand, and there were so many of them, more than twenty! He was practically a parvenu.

If he and Philip could also Henshin with T2 gaia Memories, they would definitely be stronger, but unfortunately, these belonged to Shiraishi Shin, and he had no share in them, so he could only sigh in admiration.

He didn't know where Shiraishi Shin obtained these Rider Systems and items, but that was a personal secret, and Shotaro Hidari wouldn't be so thoughtless as to ask such a question that would lower their goodwill.

"By the way, are you really okay? Do you need me to take you to the hospital?"

Shiraishi Shin looked at the remaining wounds on Shotaro Hidari's face.

This guy had encountered strong enemies twice in a row; the last time was a Turtle Gurongi, and this time it was a numerically superior Kamen Rider.

And he was still in the early stage, with only a few basic forms; if he had enhanced or final forms, he wouldn't be so battered.

And Tanzaburo Tojima, who aspired to be a Kamen Rider, was indeed quite suitable to be one, but unfortunately, there was no real Rider System for him to use.

Shotaro Hidari nodded with certainty.

"I'm really fine."

Seeing this, Shiraishi Shin didn't say much.

He hooked his index finger towards the discarded eternal robe, and the cape instantly flew over. He caught it, made a graceful turn, and put it back on, saying, "The matter is resolved, I'll be leaving now."

With that, he snapped his fingers and instantly vanished from the spot.

Tanzaburo Tojima said, "How about I give you a ride back?"

Shotaro Hidari nodded and agreed, "That would be good, I'll trouble you then. Oh, can you ride a motorcycle?"

Tanzaburo Tojima nodded seriously.

"Yes, for a Kamen Rider, being able to ride a motorcycle to pursue enemies is also key."

"Alright then, ride my motorcycle and take me back."

"I'll help you on first."

...

"Have you heard? In the deepest part of the back mountain, there are rumored to be Kappas!"

"Kappas? Where did you hear such an unrealistic rumor?"

"Of course, I heard it from the residents of this town. Apparently, two people have drowned."

"Hmph, what Kappas? They're just imaginary creatures, how could they be real?"

It was now the afternoon of the next day.

Shiraishi Shin and the others had arrived in the rice fields behind the town to help the residents with rice transplanting, euphemistically called 'experiencing life'.

During the rice transplanting process, a legend about Kappas in the depths of the back mountain widely spread among the students.
