Mina was scrolling through her social media feed when she saw the notification " KP entertainment : surprise fan meet-and-greet with Kyle!" her eyes widened are she clicked the link. It was happening – Kyle was coming to Seoul, and fans were eligible to enter a random draw for a chance to meet him.
Mina's heart ♥️ was racing. She hadn't entered the draw l, thinking it was a long shot, but jiyeon had convinced her to try l, she quickly checked her email, and her heart skipped a beat – she was one of the lucky ones! 😍
"OMG, congrats 🥳" jiyeon said smiling with joy " I can't believe it 😱what do I do?! " Mina said with a huge smile on her face " oh I know we need to prep clothes, signs, question.... everything " she said out of excitement
Mina laughed, feeling mix of excitement and nerves. She spent the rest of the day researching what to wear, what to say, and how not to embarrass herself she settled on a cute outfit– a white crop top shirt with Kyle's face on it and a short flowing mini skirt and practiced her Korean phrases in front of the mirror.
As the day of the meet-and-greet approached, Mina's anxiety grew.what if she freaked out and forget everything? What if she accidentally shouted or cried? She took a deep breath and reminded herself that it was okay to be a little starstruck
The morning of the event, mina woke up early, feeling of mixed excitement and nerves. She got dressed, did her hair, and head to the venue with jiyeon. As they arrived, the crowd of fans was buzzing with energy. Mina signed - "Kyle your my melody"- was shaking in her hands
After what felt like eternity, it was her turn. Mina took in a deep breath, pushed open the door and stepped into the room. Ther he was - sitting behind a table, smiling at her. She felt her heart ♥️ stopped beating
" (In Korean) Hi welcome" Kyle said "( in Korean) hey Kyle-san..... I'm so happy to see you" mina said with a nervous smile. Kyle chuckled and replied in perfect English " it's great to meet you too.... What's ur name". Mina's brain froze. She forgot her own name. 😳 She muttered " M-Mina..... I'm Mina " she said shaking. Kyle smiled warmly and took her hand " Nice to meet you mina. What your favorite song of mine" he said with a cute smile. Mina's eyes widened, she had so many favorite song but one song came to her mind– "through the storm". She mentioned it, and Kyle's expression turned thoughtful
" That song means a lot to me. I'm glad it helped you through tough times" Kyle said with a glad smile on his face. Their conversation flowed easily after that. They talked about music, life, and everything in between. Mina felt like she was talking to an old friend, not a k-pop idol. The time flew by and before she knew it the meet-and-greet had come to an end
As she left the room, mina felt a mixed of emotional–happiness, gratitude, and a hint of sadness. She hadn't wanted the moment to end. Jiyeon was outside bouncing with excitement " so how was it" she said " it was wow" replied with joy In her heart ♥️
