"Did we get him?" The girl asked as she watched all their elements wrapped together in a single spot.
There was no way he could've been fast enough to escape that, but they couldn't be too sure until they saw an examiner come retrieve him.
They waited for a while but no change happened, that is, until a voice came from behind them again.
"I don't think you did."
The trio immediately turned around, and sure enough standing behind them was Conan without a strand of hair out of place.
"Y-you," the earth user stuttered out as he pointed at him, "what the hell are you?"
It was very obviously that Conan was only toying with them at this point, and he had appeared in their blind spots twice without even attacking.
Conan just shrugged at the question, "as I said, I'm just a candidate like you three."
"Bullshit!" The water user let out, "the strongest candidate is a C-rank but you... you're a B-Rank aren't you?"
