500 years later
Jake William, alpha of shadow pack, the number one pack, Stood among bodies of werewolves lying dead. If he is not mistaken, this should be his sixty assassination attempt, after 500 years of not being able to awaken his wolf, his throne has been Threatened. If not for the fact that Alpha Jake proved himself as the strongest, he was afraid he would have died a hundred times.
This feels tiring. Having to kill your own kind, alpha Jake felt a pull in his heart. Without his wolf, he is only considered a commoner who took over the throne eyed by all.
With blood stained on his cloth he staggered towards the palace, although he was able to kill those assassins. He still received a quite huge injury, and without his wolf to automatically heal him, he has to depend on himself to treat himself slowly.
At the palace. In the grand settings, one would see that there's a party going on. This party is the one in a thousand years celebration. All wolves attended, Omega's,beta, alpha, Luna and even elders attended. But only one person remains absent. That's the alpha of Shadow's pack , Jake William.
"He's missing"
"How can the alpha be missing, I'm sure he doesn't want to make it, he definitely feel bad about him losing his wolf, that's why he refuses to make it"
"I think the alpha isn't like that even after 500 years, he's still ruling over us, he has even proven himself as the strongest in the whole of the werewolves clan.
"Stop speaking trash, what good can come out from someone without a wolf, that's like going to a war without a weapon. If not for his mage blood still flowing in him, I think he should forsake this throne and go to the mage land. I'm sure he will make it big there"
Different discussions arose concerning Jake's inability to awaken his wolf. This discussion has been going on for over 500 years and surprisingly the people haven't found it boring yet. Over 80% strongly believe that Jake should leave the throne and 10% were able to see far ahead. Knowing that Jake just only has to find his mate. And everything will be fine, he will get his power back. But everyone knows that finding someone that matches Jake's strength was very rare. It was never seen.
But does it have to be someone who matches Jake's strength?

"Calm down, Jenny, you are over stressing yourself."
Jenny Larz, Jake's step sister and her husband Kelvin Larz Jake best friend and PA, were both discussing privately in their room.
"Don't tell me that! Don't you dare tell me that!" Jenny growls " your best friend has been missing for a while now, and you haven't done anything. You haven't even contacted him!!"
Kelvin sighs "you are talking about you don't know your brother, that guy is stingy in telling anyone his location, even if you ask a hundred times, he won't even tell you! And don't forget that your brother is actually one of the powerful alpha and no one can take him down without them being hurt. So just calm down and relax. Maybe he is just working on one new thing or the other"
Jenny sighs before settling down on the bed. Her face buried inside her palms. "I don't know why, but I am feeling something is off. I can't get my finger on it"
Kelvin sat beside her, his hand resting on her black curly hair, as he smooths it over and over.
"Don't worry, I'm sure Jake is fine, even though he is ambushed today, no one can stop him from escaping"
"Beta Kelvin!!" A voice resounded outside the door, Kelvin stood up to open it. A young man in his early youths stood there, looking nervous.
"What happened? Speak" Beta Kelvin commanded.
"Alpha Jake is back! A-and H-hes injured"
"What!!" Jenny stood shocked. "Jake has been attacked!!" Her body trembled as the people, the guest miles away, felt shaken. It wasn't because of her aura, but because of her ability to control earth power.
"What's happening, why is the ground shaking!"
The guest fell alarm
"Jenny, stop it! Stop overreacting!" Kelvin struggled to stand straight, he was closest to her and he had to endure the brute force of her ability.
It looked like Jenny won't stop, as her power began going out of hand. Then a calm but domineering voice spoke to Jenny through telepathy
"Jenny, stop!"
Jenny snapped out, looking at the direction from where Jake Aura could be felt
"You are hurt!" Jenny said telepathy, tears struggling to fall out.
"I'm fine, come out let the ceremony begin"
Jenny and Kelvin came out to join the ceremony, they saw Jake dressed in his Royal outfit, his robe stained with blood, even his rough hair made him look more dashing and handsome. As he walks through the walkway to his throne.
The once rowdy crowd became silent as they all stared at Jake with mixed emotions. They bowed to him as he passed them before sitting on his throne.
Looking at the people from up, he felt nothing, he was already numb from the insult. He had arrived here a few minutes ago and heard everything that had been discussed about him. With his power at the great grand alpha. He was able to blend without anyone knowing about his whereabouts.
With a cold expression, he said " Let's begin!"
