"Die!!"
"Huh?" I was taken aback by what it said.
I'm not actually going to die, am I? I thought as I looked around warily. After I saw there was no threat, I let out a breath of relief. And that's when I heard thunder booming.
So I looked up as quickly as I could and found there were nimbus clouds in the sky with lightning flickering around them violently. And then a panel appeared before me.
[You better use your time element to survive.]
Instead of answering her, I looked at where I was coming from and started running. But as I was about to leave the clearing, I hit an invisible wall.
"Sigh."
I sighed as I realized the reason I couldn't leave. A panel came.
[Start the trials ]
[Yes / No]
[Tip: If you press no you will never be able to enter the trials again ]
"Select yes."
[Host, just know that you only have enough energy to pause the time of the lightning for 1 second.]
"I just hope that 1 second is enough for this damned trial to take me to the next part."
And after I finished talking, the lightning in the clouds started moving more violently. When I saw that, I knew I had to stop the lightning before it even leaves the clouds, as I know I don't have enough speed in my hands to pause lightning while it is moving.
So I raised my hand to face the clouds and said, "Pause."
After I said that, all the lightning in the clouds stopped moving and flickering. And then everything went black.
"My eyes… I feel like I'm in some sort of spatial tunnel or something."
My eyes closed on their own, and when I opened them, I found myself in a new environment.

And then the system went silent.
As I was looking at the details of the first trial, my eyes couldn't help but go to what would happen if I failed.
"This system is crazy. The risks are never worth the rewards."

It didn't say anything. Well, not like it matters.
"Let me just check this trial area and see how I will leave."
So I started looking around to see my surroundings, and after searching around for a bit, I found that currently I am in a narrow hallway with walls adorned with luxurious looking paintings, vases and other rich looking things to my right and left.
"So I can only go fowards or backwards".
"I think I should go forwards not backwards as this the maze of the future and the future is always ahead us but we just don't see it".
So I started walking towards.
Step , step , step , as I am walking there is only silence besides the sound of my footsteps and my mind that is trying to figure a way to the exit of this maze . I was looking around , searching if there was anything that wants to catch me by surprise, and that's when I found a wooden door leading to another room . I started walking faster towards it and stopped the moment I reached the front of the door . I held the door knob and turned it. Then I pushed open the door slowly. Creeeek, when I heard the sound I stopped opening the door and looked around the hallway. And as I saw there were no secret traps or monsters that appeared out of nowhere , I let out a breath of relief. And then I turned back to the door and opened it. Once it was big enough I entered. I immediately started scanning the room for a threat and found none. Instead I found a room full of paintings. So I started walking around the room to see difference between this one's and the ones in the hall way. I looked at the on closest to me. There , in that painting is a silver or Is that white haired person . And what is he doing over there is , he . I squinted my eyes to try and make up what is in that picture but I still couldn't make up anything. The man in the picture looks like he has just left a room in a castle or mansion with a wooden door . He had an expression of doubton his handsome face. Then as I started paying attention to his face . Hmmm that face that face who does it belong to. " Hey system , can you buy me a mirror", [ Mirror has been put in your in inventory , Host]. I thought about a mirror and then it appeared in front of me. I saw my full physique here , but I didn't pay attention to my body but instead looked at the face in the mirror then the one in the painting. And then then my face in the mirror I looked at the one in the painting again, again, again. Until I came to the conclusion that the person in the painting is me. I have short silver hair, indigo-blue eyes, and a sharp well-defined face. " I guess I am very handsome". I stared at myself intensely Wondering if I was handsome or not , cause in my opinion I look good. " System , am I handsome or not ". [ Oh host , you are very handsome, in fact I would say you are the most handsome person in this world]. " Nice". I looked at myself on last time in the mirror then put it back in the inventory. I turned my attention back to the painting. Yep this is a painting of what would happen once I leave this place . I narrowed my eyes, but what would make me doubt this place if I know that this is a painting of what would happen and how did they know that I would come here for them to be able to paint this . I was just standing there for a while thinking about how they knew I would arrive so many years later , but then something clicked in my head." Ah , that's how they knew!". I snapped my fingers as I figured it out . Instead of paying anymore attention to this one, I turned to the next one just right besides it. It was a painting with me in it fighting a monster . I just skipped ait and went to the next one. However just after seeing it I felt really lazy to go through them all. But I had to. So I just started looking at them as I was walking to the other far side of the room.
I reached the end of the room quickly.
And at the end of the room there is a big painting that is blank with words under it.
" Okay the words are little so let's what they are saying". Then I started reading .
[ You should go back and read the words that are under the other paintings. And as for this one , you just have to ask what you want to know that has happened. We already know what you will ask to know , so it has started to to appear.].
I looked up and I saw .....
